There’s something that’s bothering me about how some missions simply “end”.
For example, at the beginning, there’s a mission where you are supposed to remove a tick from a radio tower and then try to call for help via the radio in a military car.
If you do this, there’s a moment of static, then you get notified that the mission is completed.
When I first played that mission I was confused : “Did I miss something? Was I supposed to hear something on the radio? Is it bugged? What am I supposed to do now?”
It would be nice if the game acknowledged completed missions with at least a short text in the log.
For example: “You removed the tick that was jamming the radio tower, but there’s still no signal. Maybe there are additional jammed towers on the archipelago.”
Something like that.
There’s also a mission where you are supposed to locate a crashed jet and once you get there, the mission once again simply ends, there isn’t even a collectible or mission item there.
Same with the artillery base which you are supposed to shut down.
It would be cool if, for example, it fired a barrage from time to time which stops once you destroy the guns.
There are more examples like this, for instance the “secret cargo”.
The one example that was really immersion breaking was the mission where you search Benny’s father and you can’t even speak to Benny afterwards.
This is not supposed to be a massive criticism, but personally, I think it would be cool if missions had a bit more of an effect and/or the mission log summarized the result of mission.
