Steam Activation with Disc?

It’s been a while since I’ve bought a PC game in the form of a physical disc, but I remember a few games I bought in the past automatically being added to my Steam library once I activated them (Saints Row 3 comes to mind). Does anyone know if the PC disc version of Generation Zero will be added to the Steam library?

I’m debating using an Amazon gift certificate to buy the physical disc, but kinda like the idea of it being in my Steam library and not having to add it as a non-Steam game.

You should get a CD-key which is a steam-key, so to my knowledge it should be fine. Shouldn’t even need to have the disc other than having it :smiley:
