There is room for improvements within Gen Zero as it is that could be done with a few programing tweaks to item’s that already exsisting in the game.
**Weapons: a silencer for the 50 Cal, 3 shot burst mode for all guns Inc the 50 Cal, Lasor attachments to all guns (these are all available in the game now but not for all guns).
**Base material: 2 panel concrete, metal & wood walls (these already exist in the game but not available to builder’s).
**1 & 2 panel doors in all 3 materials (these do not exist in a form sutable for base building but with relatively minor changes could be made to work).
**Armored roof or maybe the ability to steal electronic shields from some of the wolves.
**7 gun placements up from current 5 (like 4 50 Cal towers & 3 pill box).
This stuff for the most part already exists within the game so modifications to the program could make it happen.
Gen Zero is under new leadership so now would be a good time to give all of us just a few things to keep the game moving forward and interesting.
It will be a major programming addition to open up the islands and lessor but even the areas like the Marshland and Mountain area on the mainland would be big programming additions. These changes, although big in there own right, are doable.
Let’s keep it in the eighties…
Hi, I personally just wouldn’t support this:
- There is a reason that the PVG has no silencer as attachment. It’s ok, as it is. On the other hand I would support another silenced real sniper rifle to fil the gap between the hunting rifles and the PVG.
- Not every gun has a 3-shot-burst. I’m fine with that. If I want to use 3-shot-burst, I take the gun that offers it (AI76 would be my prefered one). Differences between guns are good for each game.
- There are no laser-attachments in the game. Just the new experimental magnus look like it has one, but it’s not a real laser. It’s just part of the model. You can see it if you stand close to a tree or another player for example. The laser goes through.
BUT, I would support the addition of some more attachments, like lasers and flashlights or foregrips and bipods for improved targeting and aiming stability.
I think everyone would support raising the limit of gun emplacements. 5 is just not enough.
Personally I would LOVE 10. 2 for each side of your base and 2 extras to support the higher traffic areas.
Good feedback tho.
I would definitely like to see laser sights, bipods, foregrips, and grenade launcher and shotgun attachments. They would really spice up combat.
I’d also like to see a hunter vibrosword. It’d be cool if you could use that in 3’rd person for cooler attacks.
10 would be amazing, but I would be happy just with more than 5 and an even number.
Would even be cool, if it would be hidden behind some kind of upgrade for the base, like the fnix bases have 3 levels. And it would even be ok, if these levels are just reachable by doing a few succesful base defenses.
Before they add third person view for melee weapons (I would love to see that sword, too), they should fix the “3rd person view” of aiming with the box. Ever seen another player aiming with it upside?
I don’t know about you all, but I’m having a hard time keeping up with the demand for wood. Between bases, flares, and now companion armor, I just keep running out.
Curious then, that despite the fact that this rural environment is LITERALLY covered in wood (forests, lumber mills, lumbar yards, lumber in shipping containers, literal piles of already chopped wood in practically every home) almost none of it is lootable.
Except of course for saplings sporadically located in the woods, each one yielding ONE wood. Where as a 6 inch flare or firework yields two. Am I the only one confused here?
I think it would it be nice to have more ways to loot larger quantities of wood. An extremely simple solution would be to simply add containers within lumber and chopped wood piles and fill them with loot. I’ve already noticed several places where environmental assets completely hide gun boxes or other lootable containers (eg, a barn in the Farmlands, a storage room in a bunker, a safe house in the forest with two tool boxes super imposed).
This would be a quick (albeit dirty) way to immediately add more sources of wood to the game, without having to update, edit or add new assets or mechanics.
Just sayin’.
