Xbox one. Not sure if it’s already been said or if anyone else has this issue.
Sometimes when I press Y to change from one weapon to another it doesn’t change weapon n when I press it again it changes but changes to the same weapon I was already holding, if that makes any sense. So to change from my shotgun to my hunting rifle I sometimes have to press Y 3 times to get to my rifle, annoying when in a fight

It’s a problem across all machines.
Do you also suffer from the XBox ignoring presses when trying to use things (I have my binoculars on the cross pad up button) and sometimes that requires 2 or 3 presses?

Haven’t come across that one yet, but am still new in the game only use dpad for medkits atm
Fit your binoculars with an IR sensor and that lets you avoid spot robots from a pretty decent distance (and lets you find those seekers that you can hear but can’t see.)
The switch weapon bug seems to turn up more often if you have just been using the scope on a weapon
It happens sometimes with choosing other things on the fast selection slots but the binoculars are the most obvious one (the XBox registers the press bit like the switch weapon issue but doesn’t actually place the binoculars into your hands.)
can you tell us if this is before or after the june update , ( to help the devs )
I’m in work at the moment so I wont know what the update brings for another few hours.
Maybe others can give some info because I know it’s been an annoyance for at least 2 months
@Lang89 Have experienced the same issue on PS4. It’s like the icon on the bottom right changes but the weapon in hand remains unchanged. So three presses on (in the PS4 case) triangle is what it takes.
Usually this happens when I’ve commenced a reload on weapon A and in the middle of reload try to change to weapon B. Also as @cta102 mentioned after using the scope. It’s like one is too fast with wanna change weapon. If one would wait a second before pressing triangle the weapon change would function as normal.
I’ve also experienced the same thing with the binoculars, as @cta102 said, and every other “D-pad items”. Haven’t tried out the new patch yet, maybe that will sort the issue out

Yeh this still happens after the recent update, it happens when you exit scope n switch weapon.

Happens to me too ever so often after the patch. But no bugs due to reload, so that’s a step up!
