I have played Generation Zero for a while and im starting to see running tanks im not sure if its only the apocalypse tank but it scared me once real bad

They do that. They have for a while now. Always a ‘yikes!’ moment.

And they hide behind trees too, have you noticed that? If you fight tanks from e.g. church towers, they hide behind the trees foliage if they can get away with it. They can see (and hit) you, but you can’t see them. Bad behaviour

In particular, if Hunters hide behind trees, I have noticed that my shots don’t hit!
I mean like twigs and leaves.
They run cause we’re all just to hot to trot !
Or because we make funny squishy sounds when stepped on.

Yeah, I think it’s a bug - I like it when they just stand there and gaze at you in a bovine fashion, like a mauled Harvester, mooing gently in a sad sort of way, as the realities of the end-of-life slowly sink in…
sometimes, if you get spotted by one of the flying things, and they sound their alarm when a tank is nearby, it will come charging at you, guns blazing!
