I realize that building a world requires a lot of copy paste but I would love some more designs of the houses people live in.
growing up in Sweden in the 80ies I can’t remember that we have so many bedrooms and bathrooms in our house

Some of those houses are strange. I’ve come across houses with 1 bedroom and 3 bathrooms, with 2 being right beside each other. That’s ridiculous in any context. Layouts make little to no sense in some cases. Ground floor has nothing but a kitchen and 2 bathrooms, upstairs has a bedroom, bathroom, and living room.
It probably does need more variety, but maybe that should be saved for the DLC content on some of the other islands or most definitely the main land if the developers decide to fix the broken northern bridge.
To be honest, the lack of variety of houses in the game is one of the biggest disappointments and immersion breakers for me. You can only explore generic_1_story_house_1 so many times before it gets old. Every house has the same kitchen with the same items on tables. Same beds, same tables. etc. It’s like everyone on that island bought their houses and furnishing from IKEA.
how cool would it be , to let some players make some houses in a competition and the winners get their houses put in the game ?
Can you imagine living in a house though, where opening the bathroom door makes it near impossible to access the rest of the house though?
Those damn Swedish doors and their strange ability to block access to other rooms
Ive seen them doors the ones were toilets were built 1st and the door after so it was constantly open,a box toilet by the way haha…im sure it was youtube lol
That’s nothing. There are houses with beds for ~7 people and no bathroom
lol Yeah, I noticed that as well. Perhaps they have a bucket set up on the back porch that we missed.
When I was a kid in 1980’s Sweden it was pretty common in the countryside to find houses without bathrooms at all. You had maybe one working line for tapwater and that was it. You’d rely a lot on the outhouse, and the well in the garden. During summers at least you could swim in the lakes.
Just imagine no toilet and no knowledge to the stingy nettle whhoossshhh the pain haha.Anyway i like the idea of the houses forever changing as you proggress the only downside is theres not much interaction in them example open a window or turn the tv off etc.
Same for me, I love the game concept, and open world visuals, it’s stunning. Yet I only played the game like a week and a half and just find myself not even playing it anymore… at first I was actually fine with supporting these devs and buying 2 copied, one for my friend and then my copy. Now I’m looking back and it was a waste of money, my buddy doesn’t even play it anymore either. And the devs aren’t updating the game nearly fast enough to make any difference, especially when there are this many issues with the game. Crafting and storage needed to be in the game right on day 1, and now the game is just a massive wasted opportunity. I guess that’s what happens when you rush a game out and don’t really take the time and passion into it.
