During yesterday’s daily mission, “Destroy a Tank with a Hand Weapon” something happened that is so rarely experienced in GZ.
The weapon you haven’t found yet in 5C class and which seems to be so rare for you while your brother in arms found it immediately after you both got the latest DLC. You know the feeling when you sometime start to wonder if it’s a bug, too…
Spawning in the airfield and gets the missions including the Destroy a Tank while I hear hooting and stomping not too far away. In the nearest end of runway there is a Fenix class and a bith North in the trees a Apocalyps one.
Trying to quell the madness of greatness, Experimental .44 Magnus against an Apocalypse tank so I fire a few shots at the Fenix tank to lure it down towards the hangars. Then you start playing the game of hide and seek knowing this will be easy.
I know it’s down to the last bullet with weapon Z when doing these daily ‘Destroy X (amount) of Y with weapon Z’ but out of principled sportsmanship I give it my all with my Z weapon of choice. And sometimes it just happen that you also destroy the target with the wrong weapon and have to start over again.
So the game starts. Some bullying Hunters join in and of course a cocky Apocalypse Hunter Rival lvl4 has to join them too F#@$&'s. And then the Apocalypse Tank also joins the party. A little bit later, slightly flambéed by the Apo. Hunter I place the last rounds in the Fenix Tank then Apo. Tank goes down too.
Loot time! The Apo.Hunter was a rival lvl4 but only gave me 4C and 5C Iron Condor pistol. Must have found close to 20-ish of that 5C Iron side now. A little disappointed with the Apo.Hunter I run around and loot the others and come to the Fenix tank. A 5C S21 rifel and a 5C Minigun! Yes!
I’m collecting 2 of each to have a backup or difrent augumentation and only had one S21 and haven’t seen more than one 4C Minigun until now. Looting the remains on the Apo.Tank too and… a 5C Flamethrower and a 5C Resistance Bow… and a 5C Minigun again !?
Sometimes GZ will throw you some extra rewards but this one gave alot of extra!
