The hunter onslaught and how to make it reasonable

Harvesters can now summon unlimited hunters. This is a problem. There are several ways that this can be addressed to make this less awful.

  1. Give the Harvesters’ summoning ability a longer cooldown. Give us a chance to attack the harvester between waves of hunters.

  2. Make harvesters only summon prototype class harvesters. Experienced and well equipped players can swat prototype harvesters away with relative ease. The mortar barrages are horribly oppressive.

  3. Add an alarm or antenna component to harvesters that, when destroyed, removes the harvester’s ability to summon enemies. I think this would be the best solution as it capitalizes on the existing and cool component damage system.

P.S. Where are the cargo pods mentioned in the blueprints located? I think that they should be a weak point that can be destroyed to deal easy damage to a harvester, but damaging or destroying them would reduce the amount and quality of the loot you get from the harvester.
