I am a lil bummed out though the New Weapon found splash is still there and no option to remove or turn off in settings will this still be addressed Please let me know .

I agree. And sometimes it comes felt minutes after you picked up the weapons, when you already started the next fight.
Just a few minutes?
Noticed just before the update that if, for an example I do a hard base assult or a big battle, then instant travel to a safehouse and goes afk to make me some coffe, we talking several minutes now.
It’s like the splash screens pauses when your character is standing still and then continues again to get thrown in the face when your back and start doing things.
