it means we can finally start getting ammo/EQUIPMENT schematics from machines?

The schematic tree will provide challenges to get the schematics, one class after the other.
That’s what I read yet.

I just don’t know if this new system will also replace the schematics that could be found/got in the world or by base defenses / assaults or by loot.

As it seems that the last changes, that you should just get the schematics you don’t already own, didn’t work as expected (I still got 1c apparel schematics even I already had all), I think they looked for a new way to provide them to assure everyone can get every schematic.

You need schematic points to unlock the next schematic a bit like the skill tree. It’s like 1 point for the 2nd line, 5 points for the 3rd, 10 points for the 4th and so on… Didn’t look them all up.

You can get 1 schematic point by crafting in the selected section or by finding double schematics of that section in the world. If you find a missing schematic in the world you obviously don’t have to unlock that again in your tree.

Some sidenotes:
It seems that some locations have been reset schematic wise, ( Schematics: 0/1 ) even though you have that schematic already. Looks like that doesn’t apply to all locations… :man_shrugging:

It seems that when you already have all schematics in a section (for me it’s apparel) you don’t get additional schematic points by finding any apparel schematic again. At least the counter doesn’t move.
