So I’ve been wondering what would be the best weapon loadout for the machines against the player(s)
All machines have some sort of melee attack so disregard that.
I want to hear your opinions on what would make the enemies more dangerous
Runners
Have one weapon attachement you can choose from
SMG
Shotgun
Rocket launcher
Hunters
They have two weapons you can choose
Shoulder
Gas Grenade Launcher
Sniper rifle
Scatter shot rocket
Arm
Machine gun
Flechette Shotgun
Flamethrower
Tanks
They have two weapons and one defensive attachement you can choose
While according to the machine blueprint, tanks can have heavy duty sniper rifle as part of the loadout, i have never seen any tank with sniper rifle equipped.
As far as loadouts, there isn’t anything complicated;
runner - RPG
hunter - flamethrower + cluster grenade launcher + apo tick pod
tank - incendiary machine gun + missile barrage pod + wall of flames + apo tick pod
This would work best against my play style. However, different play style would require different weapons on machines.
It hasn’t happened often but I’ve run into a couple of Apoc tanks that something like a 50 cal. sniper, or recoiless rifle, or railgun type thing. And it hurts if you get hit for sure…
