Things that need to be fixed/improved

Here’s my list of things that I feed need to be worked on or fixed, if anyone knows more of them go ahead and add to this thread.
Will try to separate by importance/relevance:
***** Network connection.
As Sweden day event proved, connecting to other players can be a hassle. Players should be able to see list of other players hosting and try to connect to them, hosted game conditions / difficulty should be visible etc. Direct IP connection is a MUST have, if I know my friend IP I should be able to let him join my game or for him to connect directly to me using IP address.
A test tool also to test connectivity would be welcome.
***** Inventory.
Needs improvement, we need a sorting option to arrange stuff or at the very least be able to drag on our inventory our stuff up or down. Weight limit on safe houses storage is pointless.
***** Fog.
Fog is an issue on many locations but it behaves very wrong, IR doe snot work properly and fog creates a ‘cloud’ in front of IR, I can tell you that fog does not appear on IR visors. Also fog should not be visible inside houses or structures.
**** Houses.
Too many cookie-cut houses, while design may be similar interior should always be different.
In this same vein houses power switches do not work on some lights and many houses have seams on the roofs where the meshes do not meet properly creating gaps in the mesh.
**** AI.
Enemies should look for the player in a logical way, enemies firing at a player that is behind cover, not visible is dumb, it is also dumb for enemies not to move to line-of-sight to see the player, I keep seeing hunters and runners fire at me from behind tree cover where they should not be able to see me.
*** Hunters and runners through walls.
Seen this a lot when hiding inside a barn and suddenly a jumping hunter appears behind me inside the barn, something about the mesh allowing the hunter to jump and land inside the barn same for runners.
**Bunkers
Some minors fixes to many bunkers rooms that have power pipes in the middle of the room instead of the walls, medical room with no medical supplies and no armory of any kind we can raid.

These are the ones that come up in my mind, anyone knows more feel free to add, if I see more will add to this thread.

Good idea, I agree with this :slight_smile:

The devs are aware many are wanting improvements to the inventory and it’s still a system that’s relatively new to the game so it’ll no doubt be improved further down the road. I think the weight limit may be related to avoiding bloating a save file, but don’t quote me on that. The main idea isn’t to hoard items in the game, though.

There’s a lot of fog in the South Coast Region right now, it’s being corrected in the upcoming patch.

There are several reasons why so many houses look the same. One being, the team working on the game is pretty small, so they had to take some shortcuts in that regard. Realistically though, Sweden’s houses and barns actually looked alot like that back in the day. Though the devs have begun to improve on the world, so we’ll have to see what happens.

It’s got to do with the April Update, that turned up Machine behaviour to extremes. It’s being adjusted soon.

It’s a known issue. Also being looked into. If you encounter any bugs, #bug-reports is the way to go.
There’s a ton of feedback in this forum section, look it up and see if it’s already posted.
