Yeah, it’s a thing. It is probably set up to battle the most severe issues. If you can’t get any help off the forums, technical support on the main page is the way to go.

Do the bug we report here get shared with the QA team?

I should hope so! Kinda defeats the purpose otherwise. Same goes for the Steam forums. Though some issues might get prioritised over others.

Community Reports can often be seen in patch notes.
