Unclear scenes, Items and Lore

I was wondering what you guys think this big tank is storing. I initially thought it was a water tank like the Water Tank on HimfJäll or the Water Towers, but then I had some doubts since we are at a Gas facility.

Because this tank has stairs to access the Radio mast on top, I wondered if it wouldn’t be too dangerous to build an expensive radio mast on a potential explosive storage.

What do you think is in this tank?

I just know that these stairs weren’t there always.
They have been added with one update a long time ago. Wasn’t it even a mission location?

I guess, the one who added it, didn’t think about the logic or sense of putting the radio mast up there. It’s just a cool place because there isn’t a second one of this kind in the world. And it’s the highest place at this location and therefore perfectly for a radio mast.

Nevertheless, if it’s used as a tank, it probably contains gas or water, or maybe another ressource for producing the gas… Maybe even just (compressed) air.

Otherwise it could also be a secret room with an underground entrance.

It is really not important though. I just wondered. It probably is Gas storage. It has those big black pipes that we see all over the facility. I think we first got the IGA Parkour stuff, and later IGA and also Hjortqvarns Sågverk have gotten the big stairs. Very nice addition.

Sometimes I just like to think about why some lore or scenes we find have never been explained. So to answer one of these I had send in an support ticket to the Devs with just a simple question that I was wondering about. Previously I asked questions before and have received at least a reply, but this time nothing. Must have been a hard question I guess.

If you check the map snippet, just under the BOG area you’ll see “Car scene”. It’s car on the road with outside food and stuff laying around. However if you go up the bank on other side of the road you find more food and stuff. But no bodies, no blood. So what happened here, were they fleeing and were abducted, or haven’t I just not found more evidence. A dead body in the bog…

The stories our minds create often are greater than anything that’s indeed shown in a game. And it’s the fact that we exchange our ideas of possibilities instead of just noticing given facts. This can keep a game alive longer than its original story.

GTA 5 is another good example for this kind of Story telling. Throw in a piece of puzzle and let the gamers draw the rest of the puzzle.

I have last played GTA 5 march 2020, and I can’t say I had the same experience with setpieces like in GZ. There are a few set pieces that do a good job in providing enough clues to give a good idea of what happened. I mean like a trail of dead machines, blood and at the end a dead body, like the one that starts in Lilla and then leads to the Överbyan river.

Yes, that’s pretty cool in GZ.
In GTA5 I had the theory about a hidden jetpack in mind, which came from a painting on some wall and lead to years of searching, creating theories and more all over the community.

But of course, it’s not like the visual storytelling in GZ.

Another scene that had me searching for that one final clue, is halfway up the road from IGA’s back gate and Lenard’s Marin. It’s a bicycle scene where two Bikers were attacked by Runners. We find dead machines two bikes, a blood trail leading away from the bikes. We find one bikers helmet near the last, still substantial, blood trail near a rock. But there it ends, no smaller spots of blood. No bodies found, would perhaps mean they escaped, however one or both bikers were bleeding heavily. They also could have fallen into the water of Himfjällsundet, but no blood trail led to the waterside.
I assume they escaped, but if there had been a trail with blood that peters out, it would be more clear they escaped.

The a bit further up at Lenard’s Marin we find another big splash of Blood, but that seems to be originated at Lenards Marin, where some of the Resistance men stationed there were attacked. So not connected to the biker’s scene. One of the men was wounded and fled inside the warehouse and died in the office, leaving a blood trail toward the location of his unfortunate demise for us to follow. This scene seems solved.

Wait… Since when could you go up there? I don’t recall there being a staircase.

The one at the sawmill I documented on 17 dec 2023, but the one at IGA I only first saw after the last update, but it could have been added with the same update as the sawmill one.

Here a scene of a man in fancy evening suit who was shot through the staircase window. Now I wonder if this scene could be linked to the burial scene next to IGA safehouse, which is one of the senior staff villas.

At the burial site we find two covered bodies, two makeshift crosses and a shovel. But something must have interrupted the digging of the graves. I looked around for any evidence or clues for why the burial was interrupted like dead bodies close by, but I only found the dead body of a man in white fancy clothing in the flat you see above.

What do you think?

It’s obviously a water tower. It’s height would make it an ideal observation post not unlike a lighthouse yet instead of watching for ships, the fire service watches for fires

I heard today Canadian Mounties don’t lock anything and the station is always empty even though it’s filled with supplies

Im going to have to quote Madchaser here: look for a circle of stones marking a grave, a small hillock nearby that might pass for a tomb or a cairn: a pile of rocks that marks a path for hikers

The only mystery I chased in gta5 story mode were all the fume hood vents in Sandy Shores. Unless explicitly identified as a restaurant, it could give you a better idea of how many stash houses TP Inc operates in Sandy Shores. This was after the Super Lab Biker mission involving a tanker truck full of chemicals at the weight station across the bridge from the Stab City caravan village on the southwest end of the Alamo sea. There was also a Survival mission at the concrete plant

Thanks for confirming. That’s what I thought too.

Thanks Luis, I will have a look around, in a minute. I hope I find it.

Another scene…

You find this scene at (885, -372) just outside Kyrkhöjden in a field. Three men killed (Maybe Iron Church members). The one with the light is a policeman. The fact that he was carrying a light suggest that they were on a nightly mission.

If we do a 180 and walk back towards Kyrkhöjden, we find two dead runners and more upwards we find a Military police car with a dead military soldier. See pictures below

The light in the distance on these pictures is where the three men are.

What do you thinks the story is?
