The new update has seemed to have made it so when you try to play the game on a Ps4 the game simply displays ‘‘An error has occurred in the following application: (CE-34878-0) Generation Zero’’ and giving the option to suggest actions or report problem, i selected suggest actions and it read as follows ‘‘Update the application. to do so, go to the home screen, highlight the application, press OPTIONS button and then select [check for update]’’ bellows this it also suggests ''Update the system software by selecting [settings] > [system software update].
NOTE- i have tried these and none have worked
To get the same bug as I, start Generation zero on your Ps4, when logged in and loaded to the title screen wither you make a new character or press continue the game fades to black likes its loading, it will then cut to the blue screen displaying the error message, i have tried to start the game multiple times and i get the same result all the time.
SIDE NOTE (not important)- When I first got the error message i thought it was because i tried to continue on my old character, so I thought because there was a new update, my old save wouldn’t work, so that’s when i deleted my old character and started to create a new one only to relies the error still happened, basically i lost all my progress, ah well.
Yeah it’s a shame, I was really looking forward to playing the new update, ah well , they said they were working on it so hopefully it’ll be ready sometime soon.
I know this is a stupid/fruitless question due to lack of actual time frames existing when dealing with such tasks/problems to fix, but is any update on the ps4 crash fix going to be made available, or is a dev available I could email?
I don’t know, I got told that the team were working as hard they can to fix the issue, I didn’t get any info on the specifics of what they are doing to fix it or when they think they will be finished, I bet if you ask Carniv0re he can tell you a bit more due to him being part of Generation zero, he left a comment on this post, just scroll up a bit to find him.
It’s going into day 3 this is unacceptable. The devs should refund all ps4 digital purchases, and be blacklisted from selling products on psn. I bought this game Tuesday, and have not been able to play at all. And to make matters worse the game is still available for purchase on psn, so more people are going to get scammed by these devs only to find sony won’t refund.
