The end of an era.
To this forum, it’s community, it’s veterans from all the way back in 2019, and to those who are still around:
Thank you!
Your fellowship meant the world to me for so long.
I will always remember you.

It was a real pleasure to be a part of this community. GZ was the first game I got involved on such level… and probably the last.
Take care eveyone
It’s a shame that the GZ forum is being closed and deleted. There’s a lot of information here that new players need or should know if they get stuck somewhere or if the game has bugs, and how to solve or work around some of them.
Dear Systemic Reaction, dear Generation Zero Team, dear moderators, dear community! Thank you all so much for this fantastic game and this magnificent forum. I’ve just been on a weeks vacation in Wales and when I tried to check in from there, the forum had gone from the homepage navigation menu. While backwaters UK (Mon& Brec) is intoxicatingly beautiful, it isn’t exactly on the broadest bus on the Internet, so I thought it was an island thing … but no. Now back on the continent I just figured out, that we have now reached the end of the journey. Obviously I feel both sad and sentimental.
There is so much to say, but I’ll keep it short. I had a hell of a good time playing the game and making friends here. To all involved I really appreciate you all, what you created, what you contributed, and all the fun we had. Unfortunately, there will always be those who wants to destroy. Naïvely I believe that when you choose that path, you will attract others with the same inclination to destroy. In the long run, that will make your life miserable and hollow. So let us continue to build. Build friendships. Create art. Construct in the service of humanity. Fight injustice. Spread love. And have fun
Love to your all, Ian
Somehow I got the feeling, that this could fit…
The server invite isn’t available anymore. Could you possibly post a new one?
Wouldn’t it be possible to get a dump of the forum’s final state and make it available from Discord? It’s on the Wayback Machine currently, but the layout is stripped down, there’s no search function and most of the images are missing, so it won’t be easy to navigate.
