As you might have noticed we have seen an increase in spam bots on the forum lately and while we have looked at different solutions to keep this forum up and running properly, we have now taken the hard decision to shut this down.
We will give it some time though, and all functions will be operational until 11:00 CET, November the 28th.
We want to thank you all for your dedication here, helping beginners get started, helping us with bug reports through the years and of course just being a fantastic community!
While the end of the forum is approaching, there are of course other places to hang out and chat about our favourite game, and some of our top pics would be the discord server and the subreddit.
Once again, thank you all for making this community into what it is!

Note to everyone who has been following my fan fiction:
Since the forum will soon be closing, I wanted to let you know that I have revised my story about Amelie Devereux and Ulf Kellerson and published it in a new form. The plot has been completely rewritten and is now set in a separate, fictional world—an alternative Sweden in 1989. The characters and story are my own invention and are not connected to any official content or brands.
I have published the story in German as a book to make it accessible outside the forum – for anyone who liked it or is curious to see how it has developed. It is a personal project that grew out of our shared passion. For those they where interested and want more informations, reach out for me personally with PM. Or on Discord helldiver4139
For the english readers, I’m busy to translate the story in english and i will publish it as soon as possible.

Well to everyone who will call it quits from here, It’s been an amazing and fun journey! I enjoyed getting to do the beta testing, discussing and at times arguing, and sharing our likes, dislikes, loves, and hates!
I wish everyone well on their next chapter in life, wherever that takes you!
Shame, but I can understand the decisions behind it. Upkeep taking time and resources
that can be allocated elsewhere. Gonna miss this place… All the fun we’ve had, and all the discussions I’ve partaken in. A big chapter of my life coming to en end.
What a journey it has been. But, no need to dwell. Generation Zero will sit on Steam until the end
of time, so I’m happy with that.
I recommend copying over stuff to the GZ Discord, like @Gysbert 's map and other resources
that can benefit the community. And backup stuff you don’t want lost. I don’t mind if anyone takes screenshots I’ve uploaded, or my short stories.
Of course I’ll stick around until the forums shut down.
