I gave money to buy them but haven’t spent much time using them. The small SMG spits out a lot of lead but doubt much hits the target more than a few yards way so it seems useless. I like that the sniper rifle uses a 8X16 scope and a rifle silencer but it wouldn’t even blow up a gas station pump after a whole mag. The grenade launcher is exciting to just use with it’s sound effects but don’t know what damage it can do against machines yet. I also like the EMP rounds.
But to be more honest, I bought the last two DLCs to support the work of the dev team in hopes we can start seeing bugs being patched and that includes the new features at the base.
Maybe if the Developing team needs funds they can just add a DLC that we can click on and just donate money to be used towards fixing these bugs. I think that would be better than to continue to add features that just don’t do much for the game itself.
God I would love to be able to just donate large sums of money to fix bugs and optimize the game instead of paying 2-3 bucks for some guns that are mainly reskins
The com10 is pretty cool and the grenade launcher is pretty good at taking out groups of runners but the s21 def needs higher damage, should be able to one shot runners like the algsudsere (hows that spelled) or the muesser. you have to be very close to be able to. i do thing its slightly better than the ketonik
The new weapons look good. The sound is ok, the feeling, too. But: the provided 3* versions don’t deal much damage compared to my other 5* weapons and are currently not much worth to use with a fully armed character. Conclusion: wait to get 5* versions
In detail:
The Com-10 has a very high rate of fire and very much recoil. Only useful in close combat with enemies greater than a runner, because too much bullets would miss the target else.
The S21 has a high range due to the ability to attach the greatest scopes. It doesn’t deal more damage than a Kotenok or AG4 in singleshot and seems to be not as precise as expected. Silencers seem to work really good with it.
The grenade launcher is fun to use. Don’t know much about damage output yet. I just tried to use it over large distances for getting comfortable with the aiming. Reload speed seems to be faster than for the granatgevär but not fast enough to be an good alternative in my opinion. (due to less precision)
Conclusion:
Good addition to the first US weapon pack. Now all types of weapons from US forces are present. Maybe nice to play with with a new character (without experimentals)
I guess there will be a Soviet Weapon Pack 2 in future, too with a smg, a pistol and a lmg.
To be really good alternatives for the swedish weapons there will have to be some experimentals, too. But I don’t think that they will come in a 3rd weapon pack or at all.
I’d like to see experimental versions of most, if not all, of the weapons. That way you could really tweak your build. I want so see what interesting features or procs they come up with for them. As for the new packs, I’ve gotten 5* versions of most of them but, unless I use experimental ammunition, they’re not worth the weight to lug them around if you already have experimental weapons

But although I have enough experimental weapons for all of the four characters, I’ve chosen to have one character just for swedish 5* weapons and one character for weapon pack weapons.
Yo, Great job to the dev team on making this pack, it is amazing!
In comparison to the other 2 weapon packs, this one is probably the best.
The G79 is my favorite out of the three, it is awesome for taking out Lynx.
The S-21 is also pretty good in general, and the COM-10 is great for spraying at hordes of Ticks, but i found that it has too much climb for me, as I struggled to kill even a Lynx. I have yet to test it on a Runner or Hunter tho.
Now, I have this theory:
The first US Weapon Pack had an LMG, an Assault Rifle, and a Pistol.
The Soviet Weapon Pack had a heavy weapon, a SMG, and a Sniper Rifle.
The 2nd US Weapon Pack had a heavy weapon, a SMG, and a Sniper rifle.
so if my theory and this pattern are correct, than the next Soviet Weapon Pack will have a Pistol, an LMG, and an Assault Rifle.
I think the LMG will probably be an RPD or something. As for a pistol, it could be the Tokarev pistol of the Soviet Union:
That is the most likely option.
As for an AR, it could be either an AKM, AN-94, or an AK-74. I think that the AI-76 is the current AK-47 in the game but they could easily add another Soviet AR.
And I am sorry, I know that the AT-WAD is an Assault Rifle, but I did not count it as one because it feels more like an SMG. A totally awesome SMG I might add! I can shred through anything with that thing, there is not too much climb, but there is enough to make it feel realistic and balanced. And the rate of fire is amazing! This is definitely in my top 10 favorite weapons of Generation Zero.
The only downsides to it are ammo being more difficult to find, and only being to mount red dot scopes and no Vision Mods.
