1.05 Generation Zero is unplayable, it breaks my heart.
So whoever reads this message, from everyone on Reddit, most everyone on the forums. Please for god sakes. Take YOUR time on the next update. Months don’t care.
Test the game guys! What the hell is going on? Do you not have a Xbox,PC and a PS4? Is it just not possible to say “hey update is done, let’s test it before we send it out”!
Make Pc players do beta testing. Set up a test branch. Anything…
Hurts to know the company who makes such beautiful worlds and amazing things has let us players down. I feel trolled.
All I ask is for Is for Fatalist to test there game. I don’t expect every single bug to be fixed tomorrow. Nor next month. But I do want to be able to enjoy Fatalists game for once. Don’t have to be bug free… but it should launch. It shouldn’t crash the system.
The core game needs to work. There’s a amazing community behind you guys who will gladly wait and test everything for you. There’s people like me who take time to send detail bug reports so Fatalist has a general idea of what’s affecting the game.
You all absolutely rock, don’t take this negative. But Generation Zero has some serious problems. It’s something that’s new for everyone. And I know every single person is working there hardest at the office. Tell them they rock!
Just don’t troll us with a “big update” only so much heartbreak we can take before the loyal fans say no more.
Once again. I love you all and tell the team I love there game and so do others. But the general public isn’t impressed at all.
There is actually already a small group of volunteer beta testers on PC we’ve been able to provide tons of feedback and get a lot fixed before each big update. But unfortunately, we can’t test every scenario and the feedback we provide also has to be evaluated and then realized. Doing an update that “fixes everything” is difficult because the bigger an update is, the higher is the risk of it breaking something else. I’m personally for smaller updates with a somewhat controllable amount of newly introduced bugs.
I know it is frustrating to get your hopes up just to see a new issue that annoys you, but fixing a game takes a lot of time and effort and I’m glad you’re willing to give Avalanche that. I personally know they will make the best of it. Their heart is in the right place and they really care for GZ, not just money.
I’d want nothing less for them to continue the baby steps to fix the overall game a bit at a time.
That’s always the best.
But it should actually launch. It can crash 5 minutes afterwards. But the game should start without crashing the system. It seems to be a non pro PS4 problem.
Like I’ve said before. I’ve already played the menu. Getting into the game would be sweet. Unfortunately it’s not possible.
I have Zero problems waiting. But most players don’t want to pay for a game to have it not launch or work. I don’t want them to lose players.
Hell I’ve already Beat Generation Zero… I’m not the type to continue a game I’ve beat unless there’s something special. Generation Zero is special for me.
Plus I have heart problems so I really want to see it more before I go…
im hoping alot of improvements are made and even if they are small bugs fixes, @Led77vette i lost my dad not long ago from cardio myopathy ( who thought someone could die from having a heart that was too big ) . dont give up , the team is improving the game all the time. -kindly jakel
I’m the same. A game has to be really special for me to want to restart it, especially right after finishing it. Despite not being able to complete my own game due to my own being so horribly bugged. I’ve completed it with my friend, since his wasn’t bugged, and we started a new game again. Now his is bugged all to hell and he doesn’t want to play it any more. Mine is all bugged as well, so I can’t progress. And it’s frustrating.
But the fact I want to play it at all speaks a lot for the core of the game. It’s too bad it has devolved to its current state. Now, I don’t really want to play it. I’m considering shelving it for a couple of months and revisiting it again down the road in hopes that the experience will have improved.
