Weapon pack idea: police supplies

Just a small weapon pack idea. comes with the following

Taser pistol: a small single shot pistol that works as an EMP to the robots disabling them for a few seconds, can completely disable ticks allowing you to salvage them.

spas 12: 8 rounds can swap between pump and semi auto fire modes. With it includes 2 new ammo types, dragons breath, and 12ga flare.

dragons breath: burst of fire similar to birdshot mixed with flamethrower projectile
12ga flare: fires a flare that lingers in the sky for 30 seconds can be fired directly at a target to light them on fire.

Flare gun: fires only 12ga flares, single shot side arm.

Flash bang grenades: completely overloads the optics on a robot forcing them to reboot their search (puts a robot from hostle to searching if they had found you.)

A lot of weapons packs so far focuses on awfence. I think this more defensive weapons pack is interesting.

Although, a staple of police is usually a pistol, which wasn’t on the list, personally I think it might be a good idea if that was included. Preferably a new pistol ammo type, like .45.

Swedish Police at that time had the K-pist and the hp5 that is in the game. And no shotguns. The pistol at that time I think was the walther represented as the Möller in the game. I think it was in early 90s that the Sig Sauer P226 replaced the walther. And I don’t think they had flashbangs back then. Only teargas. That is if we are to stay accurate to the historical aspect.

If that is so, the spas 12 could be added to a later Nato pack, the flare gun still works, and most police forces have been using flash bangs sense the late 60s

So they would have flashbang grenades.

Swedish Police in the 80s probably didnt use tasers
spas 12 wasnt in service in Sweden
I dont know if flashbangs where in Sweden but they seems like an okay idea

So the only two things in this that work are the flare and flashbang, guess that is the start of a defensive pack.

Riot Pack:

Molotow-Cocktail The original taste of sweden.

Self-made-flashbangs Fire and Forget

Dynamite sticks Classic

Swedish Police didn’t use tasers back then. And flashbangs was added around year 2000 i believe. And it’s only used by the SWAT teams. And there is only three such units in operation today and only in our biggest cities.
And in my opinion the fireworks already work as a flashbang against machines. The swedish name for flashbang is distraktionsgranat. (Distraction grenade). And that’s what fireworks do. Distract.
But I do would like more stuff to throw. So flashbangs are ok for me if they would get added. But I rather throw a molotov.

If not just everything would lead into “entered combat”…

What about stones?

Stones or empty shell casings could work as a lure to get them to turn their attention in another direction for a few seconds. Make a thump sound or a metallic cling when they land. Would have been useful in the beginning of a game. But fully equipped mid/late game maybe not something I would need or use.

Like a Möller PP…

I don’t know about the rest of you, but I still use the Moller pp on one character.

As soon as I get a Klaucke and enough ammo. Then I scrap the Möller.

And if you have the Nato pack the moment you hit a safe house, the moller is useless.

Not for sure.
Of course you then have access to the N9, but ammo is important, too. And at the beginning, through proto runners, you get more .32 than 9mm pistol ammo.

Not me. I don’t cheat and use weapons from the pack that early in the game. But that’s me.
