Weapon-wheel / buildmenu

Hi,

today I wanted to build a new base.
After dismanteling my old one and building some of the new stuff I accidently found out that using the buildmenu (not just the cancel option) counts as one item/weapon select.

So if you try to switch to your last used weapon/item (triangle) it doesn’t work.

I still have to try if this counts just for repairing, too… That would be too bad in the middle of a defence battle when you just want to repair a critical wall and then have to select your second and first weapon again.

Can’t you bind one or two weapons to a hotkey/hotbutton :wink: on consoles?

I corrected my text.
Of course you can do that within the weapon-wheel, but I meant the button to switch the two last used items/weapons.

Same with repairing objects… After that the button to select the last used item/weapon forgot my last used item/weapon.

I have a triple wall protecting the command post/truck. No need for repairing in the middle of a wave at all. Don’t you think that it’s far more realistic to need to plan better and/or protect the base better?
Play the game as if it was real.

I have a double wall which worked for me good, too.

Before Landfall there were just a few situations where I had to repair in the middle of a wave (pillboxes or towers).

With my new base after the update I didn’t make any defence mission yet. Yesterday I just tested the bug which damages or destroyes base-objects.

As I didn’t want to test how to defend a base, which is built like it is for special reasons/purposes, without standing on the walls/towers/…, I decided to wait until it is fixed.

But as long as I find true bugs or features, that don’t seem to work correct, I’ll report them here.

And as this one is just another (small) problem of the new weapon-wheel which could be missed when fixing the other more important bugs, I created a new topic :wink:
