I saw a few previous votes that were like add swimming more machines and more vehicles. I juat have 2 ideas. 1 new weapons and outfits PLUS new machines. A entire underwater area for loot or quest side. Adds harpoon guns fish like enemys or a machine like sub. outfit of a scuba suit. 2 apocalypse esc vehicles. Something themed like mad max or the dying light following buggy. Something 4 wheeled thats still agile and yet still protects the driver more (yes the buggy will be louder but also more easily damaged and will require stuff like wire, scrap metal, and rubber to repair ontop of a repair kit.)

Iâm not sure about the under water update, I just donât think it fits GZ. Some good ideas though still! I do think a scuba suit would make a cool cosmetic set though

If we would have been able to swim, I guess our characters would have swimmed somewhere else instead of fighting the machines.

teenagers in the 1980s didnât swim well, remember, these are not adults, there teenagers with limited swimming abilities, also told by there parents before the machines took them, not to attempt long swims between islands, do to arms getting tired, drownings, etc
also things like Friday The 13th movies, probably scared most them being pulled under the water by Jason, 
parents probably used this to scare most of them from swimming when & where they werenât supposed to, Remember, these are 1980s teenagers, Not 2024 teenagers

Btw I guess 1980s teenagers who lived beneath a coast or on an island had better swimming abilities than our current generation teenagers.
They didnât have smartphones, consoles, computers or even televisions in general.

thereâs a story that was told by one of the parents of these teenagers around the campfire couple months before the machines 
someone wearing a hockey mask sitting at a campfire roasting marshmallows, those teenagers had second thoughts about disobeying there parents for a late night swim to himfale island 4 sneaking into the ski resorts

Well, I have âwinterâ almost two times every game session I play GZ - Shouldnât the water freeze to ice then so we can walk, cycle or drive the mopeds and bikes between the islands like we do in Sweden?

but in all seriousness, all joking aside, itâs a way for video games makers to tell people that video games limitations are here, nothing more to see beyond the water, walls wouldnât make sense in most places and doesnât give a nice view, 
maybe open world games need to come full circle, like mini earth ball connecting

Swimming, yes. Underwater area, no. Its the same reason I donât want flying vehicles. Weâve seen the jets got crashed, none of us would have the slightest idea how to actually fly one, and without training, the most likely outcome is we crash and die. Same for helicopters. None of us will be flying one and fighting machines at the same time. Not realistic. Same deal for underwater combat. Guns donât fire well underwater, harpoon guns wonât make a dent in a combat machine.
But I do want swimming so I stop getting stuck in the mud. I donât mind if we lose our guns while weâre swimming. Fine. But let us swim. I learned how to swim at 4yo back in 1976. Its what we had before we got little battery powered things that go beep beep beep in the 80âs.

Aquatic machines just do not work with gz, for multiple reasons. I could understand swimming a little more, but aquatic machines, heck no
