What games besides GZ do you like playing?

That’s the best about Days Gone.
Many, many Zombies.
Especially the horde of 500 was a really crazy fight, but so fun.

These days it’s just:

Hunt Showdown
Helldivers 2
Hardspace: Shipbreaker
MechWarrior Online

the hordes aren’t difficult, you just need to find a spot to camp at, the hordes can’t reach and take them all out

That’s not at easy, as they can reach every place a player normally can reach. And even more.

Exactly my idea, but that’s not the intention of the game

But to make it doable, you’ll have to find such a spot.
Doing the ‘specialties’ now, but sometimes there’s no time to explore the region.
Also … during the story I can’t find herbs in almost the beginning.

But I know - I’ll have to ask this on Steam community.

Days Gone is a fantastic game! 9,5/10 in my opinion. It made a bigger impact on me than any other game has done in the last 3 years.
I only have one problem with it. It has no end-game. Once you’ve done everything, that’s it. All there is to do is ride your motorcycle and pick flowers.

Really  howcome?

Probably like with movies: an open ending, so they can build on this game and make a follow up.

I am now playing Star Wars outlaws from Ubisoft, and I quite enjoying it. It has a nice stealthy system which you need use often.

I was finishing up Ghost Recon Breakpoint back in April '23 when I started GZ…so yeah I’m a late starter. I still go back and forth between the two depending on if I want to do a meat drive or a recycling tour.

I will also revisit Halo Infinite on occasions as well as Gears of War.

Along withe those, these are some of my all time favorites that I played most or all of the series:

Crysis
Battlefield
Farcry
Control
Portal
Metro
Sniper Elite
Sniper Ghost Warrior
Black
Max Payne
Quantum Break

…to name a few. I only do games that have a solo campaign.

I did all of them too.

The last games that I did were “Stalker 2” and “Star Wars Outlaws” (both open world games).

Now I am playing another great game, “Indiana Jones and the great circle”. Here the explorer and detective side is needed. Needless to say I enjoying this very much. I’m trying to find everything, but that’s by no means an easy job.

Is it good? I’m waiting for a sale to buy it, it seems a bit repetitive. Far Cry suffers from this too, but much later in the game.

Genertion Zero
Wasteland 2&3
X-COM
State of Decay 2
Fallout 3 and New Vegas
Weird West
Limbo
Far Cry Primal and 5

I tried DayZ, but how I hate the community! And it’s online only, so it’s not for me. GZ and SoD2 are better at this and generally have the best online experience I’ve ever encountered.

One of the only shooting games I like. The “ping” sound causes a wave of joy!

I’ve been hearing about Stalker…may have to check into that one. As long as I can do it solo.

@TheDoorsBR …Both Wildlands and Breakpoint are excellent…Breakpoint being a little better. One thing I learned playing them solo is at the beginning your AI teammates are definitely a must have. Later in the game not so much. I usually hate playing with AI as most of the time they are more problematic than anything…but not so in Wildlands especially. Also the controls and movement of the games are top notch…no getting hung up on every little branch or leaf. The choppers are a blast too.

Black was fun but if I remember the controls were unusual a bit but not game breaking. They had the weapons sounds spot on too. The .50 cal sounded great. I play with about $8K worth of stereo turned on so sound is important to me. Too bad we didnt get a Black 2, 3 etc.

Buy it on PC, or else you will have to carry bodies through half of the map to serve as extra storage.
You can change the values of Weight in old games(trilogy) and there are mods for Stalker 2.

If you dont have a problem with that, buy it for console, its fun anyway, i have both versions of the trilogy .
