considering that they’ve all but wiped out humanity, there seems to be very few machines roaming about. It would be nice if they (the devs) would up the amount of machines roaming about the countryside, too much vacant countryside, lots of walking to see no machines.
That depends completely on which map part you are and what kind of seed was generated for you.
Exiting to Main menu and then Continuing the game generates new seed with different placements and amounts of machines.
Also, i enjoy the view while traveling since GZ has stunning visuals.
Speaking for myself, I would really hate that. First, it would feel unrealistic to me. Second, it would completely break the rhythm of the game (the tension of sneaking through the night interspersed with barely avoided encounters or ugly, deadly fights).
Or to approach this the other way around: if the number of bots increased, the power of our guns should increase to the square of that, because otherwise, you’d be permanently bogged down in fights and never get anywhere (in fact parts of Himfjäll can already feel like that).
I also find my world very empty.
When I co-op with other players. It’s more machine-filled than my world.
@nugar Go to the north and northeast. You will not get disappointed.
@mortutu That’s often the case with these kind of games. The more players a session has, the more enemies spawn
I’d like to play alone,it’s cool to do all what you want, without any thought about somebody else
It feels to me that the amount of machines roaming is related to your progress through the story. Certainly my world (100% missions / challenges / collectibles etc.) is really quite sparsely populated now.
Whereas people’s still processing through the story have much busier maps.
However, if your map feels empty, unlock the DLC. Himfjall is anything but empty… even after completion!
