I think it would be interesting to add more of the unique and less known weapons from WW2 from all different sides because there was a lot of interesting and neat weapons from the Soviets Germans and the Japanese
There’s also some from the US too but I don’t think we need more US weapons
I don’t think we need ww2 weapons of each country at all, except maybe sweden.

We have the Moisin rifle that is enough old weapons. If this was a WWII game and someone asked for weapons from the German/French war of 1870 people would say ‘Why would we do with weapons that old when we have Sten SMG and MP-40’. It’s the same here. Why would we use such old weapons when we have modern assault rifles?
But then again everybody want different things.
But I would not spend any money on a ww2 pack except s Swedish one because they fit in the game story and s few should still be in storage for Swedish home guard. But even they had mostly switched to AG4 at the time of the game setting…

The scenario you referenced makes sense if that was the situation, however, WW2 did yield some awesome weapons, and those that came out in the recent aftermath were also pretty awesome. The AK47 would be a prime example of this, as it’s still around and popular today, even being that old of a weapon. That being said, are you saying that you wouldn’t happily use a StG-44, MG42, 1918 Thompson, or an Enfield if they were added? That being said, I don’t think they are a necessity, but at the same time, I wouldn’t mind seeing them either. It adds to the game, and if the devs decided to throw us a bone, I wouldn’t complain.
Wouldn’t really say I’d be excited about much of what the Japanese forces were using in WW2, but I can’t disagree that the German arsenal had some very interesting weapons, same goes for the Russians. That ‘dinner plate’ LMG would be a treat to shoot.
To be honest no. I would not use them. And they would come as a pack you need to buy and that said the devs don’t get money from me.
We already have a more modern adaption of the AK47 in the game. The Ai-76.
And this is my opinion. I don’t understand why we should add old weapons to the game. Simply because we have better weapons. And this game takes place in Sweden that didn’t officially take part in WWIi so there was basically no weapons coming in from those nations. Sweden did import some like the Walther P-38.
I would by a pack of it was made of Swedish WWIi weapons like the M 1918 Browning BAR called Kg/M21 in Swedish service. It was in use by homeguard up until late 80s. Weapons like that add flavor and history to the game. A bunch of German weapons from WWIi would have no such added bonus. And why would they even be in such great numbers in rural Sweden to motivate they being added?
To be fair I didn’t buy the Eastern pack either since I don’t want an old Moisin-Nagant to enter my loot pool. I would love to have the Scorpion but the benefit doesn’t overcome the negative aspect of having a decommissioned military rifle that was modern during the Great War. I see no use what so ever for that weapon. But someday I might buy it just for the Scorpion. But i doubt it.
And I don’t mind of the devs add a WWII German pack. Since it’s DLC I don’t have to buy it.
