You get a Pre-order!

I Decided to pre-order your game (which I almost never do).

Here’s what you guys did right (in my opinion) which tipped the scales and convinced me to invest in your game.

1 - No price-changing nonsense.
So many games have multiple prices, and prices raise when the game hits release. But you guys are being very fair about this, you are not charging a different price after release.

2 - The price seems fair.
From what i’ve seen from the beta footage, you guys are not going crazy with the pricing, you are keeping it fair, and offering good compensation for the amount you are asking from players. In the current climate of gaming where triple-A titles are charging sometimes upwards of 200 dollars for their game/early-access/season-packs/etc. Finding games marketed for fair prices is refreshing!

3 - This game is doing a co-op multiplayer adventure!
I like co-op games, I like adventure games, i’ve had fun with playing games such as this in the past, and am looking forward to (and hoping) that this one will be good. By not trying to shoe-horn pvp into the game, you can focus on offering a much more refined co-op multiplayer adventure experience, and I like that.

4 - I have played the previous games your studio has worked on and had fun with them.
Specifically the “Just Cause” series, Renegade Ops, and Mad Max. Good stuff there.

5 - I like what i’ve seen from the game so far.
Allowing people to publish their footage from the beta is a good way to go. It allows people to get an inside view of whats going on with the game, and i feel that many people will be able to distinguish between things that may likely change between a late stage beta release and the final version of a game these days.

There are more things of course, but these are the broad strokes of what pulled me into purchasing this game before official release. I almost never do that these days, because to be honest, it is very difficult to justify pre-release purchases due to being burned so many times by games which were massively hyped up pre-release, then get released and turn out to be unable to live up to expectations (such as No Man’s Sky).

Good luck with the game! I’ll be giving it a go.

Thanks for the feedback! I’m happy to hear about what they did right for once, you don’t see that often nowadays. I hope you’ll have tons of fun playing the game!

Exactly why I pre-ordered right away also! 2 days and I can’t wait!!
