A case for vehicles Megathread (collective feature topic)

That for sure.
Also we are in an alternative version of sweden. A version, where everyone has med kits, ammo and weapons in their houses. A version where fortifications are in almost every place. But the swedish still use the good old stridsvagen… A light tank without a turret. Well, as we found out it can be used by just one person, can fire rapidly and reload automatically… But it still has to turn in whole to aim at a target. And fnix machines are ways more agile.

Fnix just was an enemy that none of the existing tactics did fit on. Too fast, too many, too deadly. And they didn’t come from outside by an invasion… They already were right in the middle of everything.

Ok, we drifted apart a bit. Many words just to say that tanks or other heavy military equipment would be a wrong direction for us to use.

But why whould FNIX want that? they have no need for airborne troops and it whould only use a ridicolous amount of fuel just to get a hunter 20-30 meters away.

Maybe in the future instead of having Hunters fall from somewhere in the sky to aid Harvesters, FNIX could have a dropship and the Hunters would use the jetpacks to slow their decent and also to perform higher jump attacks to impale players with their swords.

In a simmilar fashion as the Mandalorian Kom’rk Fighter.

The troop bay is underneath and the shock troops hang in the belly of the ship until the doors open beneath them. Then it’s show time.

Or maybe FNIX has an atmospheric base at a high altitude over Ostertorn and one day we’ll be able to get to go there or shoot it down.

That reminds me of an older post of me in another topic:

To this topic: I just see problems with jetpacks… No matter if for the players or the machines. No, I don’t like that.

No, i think it whould fit better with an AI controlled fighter instead of a dropship
