Hello again i saw something on here but i cant locate it now about a bone like log tree type thing on the ground can someone tell me where it is or screenshot the area on the map id love to go explore and investigate thank you so much fellow Ostertornians!
Right here where the yellow marker is! Coordinates roughly: 15333.361, -2401.776
Post a screenshot when you find it!!!
nvm its in the base whoooooo its a dino booone lol its a tree though eh lol im an idiot i was afraid to go close to base lol THANKS
There are so far 3 locations that I know of, that has a big bone-like log.
This one below is not at Storskogen control point, but in Archipelago. Try an find it, and If you find other instance tell us about it. I will add these things later to the map.
There are also at least 6 birdhouses to find, I am still looking for these kind of things when I roam the GZ world.
That’s very interesting, I haven’t seen that particular bone shaped log yet, but now I’m definitely going to search for it later tonight! I had no idea there were multiple scattered around. It’s little discoveries like that that make exploring in GZ so rewarding.
Same goes for the bird boxes, I’ve only spotted a couple so far, but knowing there are at least six out there gives me another reason to keep at it. The first one I know of is, I think, inside Mole City and has a spanner hanging off its perch. The second I’ve seen is on Aspholmen on a tree near a cabin you’ve marked as Building of Interest (is this the reason it’s marked?)
I’ll keep a lookout for more bone logs and birdhouses as I roam, and I’ll post anything new I find!
Tim, the two birdhouses you mentioned are part of the six I have logged.
The red cabin can be entered that’s why I marked it as a POI.
I love it when people are actually wanting to explore the world. I tried to log everything worthwhile, I see, but I can’t mark all those things on the map. But If you come up with a location that is new to me, that would make me do a triple backflip of joy (in my mind only).
Haha, I fear you may have already found all of the most interesting things out there, every time I think I’ve stumbled onto something new, I double check it on your map and find you’ve already got it logged! That said, I’m definitely going to keep exploring. Half the fun of GZ for me is slowing down and really taking in the little details most people might miss.
I’ll keep on hunting for anything you might not have seen and if I do manage to trigger one of those mental triple backflips, I’ll consider that a major win!
Btw. The Bone-like Logs I found one each in (F)orest region, (A)rchipelago, and in (M)ountain region
The birdnests: In (A), (FL), (F), (FL), (ML), and (ASP).
Thanks @Gysbert . Consider this my new unofficial side mission. Time to comb through the regions and see if I can track down every single one!
So…… (A) stands for Archipelago, (M) is Mountain region, (FL) refers to the Farmlands (F) is the Forest region, (ML) represents Marshlands, and (ASP) must be Aspholmen.
Hmmmm……neither bone nor box on Himfjäll then. I’ll head there first to try and find one or do I try the ‘out of bounds’ wilds and search every tree? Gotta find a new one for you. Could take a while!
No, you can’t conclude that. I only listed the regions where I found some. North Coast, Himfjäll and South coast could have some. However, it seems quite likely that Himfjäll was not updated with new assets. Although I haven’t found any yet there, they could still be lurking somewhere I did not look.
You’re right, I jumped the gun there! You’d make a good detective @Gysbert! I’m definitely learning a lot from conversing with you. Sounds like I’ll have to search all over then… might need to ask work if I can have a sabbatical for this investigation!
hey Tim have alook at my 2 new post and the most recent with my tick plush do u own one ?
Now then @mothmando2020 ! I’ll be taking a proper look at your posts later today. I feel like I need some time to properly take them in and give a response that does them justice. Looking forward to diving in later!
And no, I haven’t actually seen those plushies for sale anywhere! Now I’m incredibly curious as to where you got it. What a strange (but terrifyingly brilliant) choice for a cuddly toy! I think I’d be on edge all the time if I saw a Tick sitting at the bottom of my bed… half expecting it to start skittering across the floor! I’d be trying to shoot it with my toothbrush or something! Would love to see a screenshot of it!
So happy I stumbled across this forum! This community’s so full of curious minds and hidden gems, and it’s brilliant having you here!
