Yep, noticed this, too, AG4x fire damage is a thing again
I use the AG4 with AP rounds, cheap enough ammo, to mark the runners as they run across me for players on my flanks to finish off, some times after marked, they are destroyed in a slow burn kind of way, fun times again.
I did not switch to my level 5 KVM 59 with shock ammo at all last night and only switched to shock ammo and did a short burst, from my AG4, when I realized I didnāt need to use the ammo on the machine I was firing at and switched back to AP. Was just happy there was no crashing and I told players to use their runners as much as they would like to test the new hot fix. Before I was warning them the runner could crash us all if used to much.
Again would like to thank the Dev team for jumping right on the crashing issue and hope they have it fixed, on the GZ side. I still think some of the crashing is on Steam side too.
I like The sound of AG4 EXP. with shock ammo
Oh, today I had a weird situation.
On my way straight north towards a random mission (repair station) I came to a fnix outpost mission place.
I destroyed the guards and the turrets, opened a door inside⦠And that was everything I could do.
A few minutes later I realized that it was an outpost, not a repair station and I took a look at the map⦠The mission location was far in the north.
So why the heck was there an outpost of one of these missions?
Does someone else have it there, too?
And thatās where the repair station mission really was:
(btw. Take a look at the available stations at the mission location⦠Bugged, too.)
My guess is that itās a ārounding issueā with the display. Iād wager that the UI displays the āroundedā percentage of the companionās health while the game internally uses a different figure entirely.
Letās say, for sake of argument, that the health variable is stored as 1,000 (it could be anything really ) but the UI displays the percentage with no decimals.
So if you manage to get down to less than 5 health, say 4 of the max possible 1000 (in our example) youād have a percentage of 0.4 so, it wouldnāt be dead as the health variable is above zero, but since the UI only shows integers it would be rounded down to 0%.
As a software developer Iāve seen similar display issues reporting rounded percentages.
Right, and why shouldnāt he ? Only the armor is short above 0% but thereās an underlying 100% of health for the pet so itās alive⦠If the armor is completely gone, the shield icon will change into a health icon
So is this correct that the pet doesnāt gather any more CSPs after all schematics are researched ?
Seems like a missed opportunity to me⦠Those points might find a good use later on maybe for some sort of companion skill system to maybe unlock some better attack skills.
Or maybe for some updates on weapons, basic health, whateverā¦
325 schematic points with only 1 remaining Companion shield left to purchase, (the fire shield) since I donāt plan on using it anytime soon, I wanna see the advantages of leaving 1 sheid unbought & will 325 left alone, as far as I can see, nothing so far
Soo you have The DLC, Its Very cool?
Companion is interesting, decent in a fight.
Your base traps cannot differentiate between it and enemy robots, not recommended during base defense missions.
My companion die every Single battle when i enter in it
did the mission but cant EVEN PRESS R TO BUILD THE DAMN THING
also tthe seperate island i can barly got to laggin whereever i am in that place

Not sure is this is known to you all, because I did only found out today, but companion armour can be equipped in the field. I always went to a companion station to get new armour.
Yes, it was a new feature of the Community requests Update.
The only negative thing about it:
You have to carry the 2kg for each armor in your inventory (or the companions one).
I would assign a positivity label to that, rather than negativity. This is a game where you need to make loadout choices. And the companion can carry the bulk of what you want with you in the field.
Thinking twice about it, and especially since showdown update, I would agree with you.
In the past I used the companions inventory to place there all stuff that I picked up for recycling until I came to the next recycling station.
Of course there always are some additional things in its inventory, like some special gadgets or repair kits.
But now I donāt usually do that any more, so there is enough space left for some armor.
Can you perhaps describe what you do to get the armour to the companion in the field, because the way I did it, made me think that my method seemed a bit strange and certainly not intuitive. There was, for instance, no āEquip Armourā option that I could find. But my eyesight is no longer 20-20, soā¦
Put the armor on a slot of the weapons-wheel, select it and throw the armor on your companion.
Thatās how I did it. I thought that was strange.
