Different Grenade type?

I have looting around a little bit in the northern Area of the map and found several of these grenades. You can throw them but nothing happens after that, i got killed trying to kill a group with it. Is there a Vampire DLC coming out and we can use it there? Just kidding, has anybody used them? Did this grenade type have a function in your game?

This is expected functionality of the grenade It is a easter egg in the game, cta102 provided a helpful link if you’d like to look into it further.
