Not sure if this is an eastern egg, but it sure is a peculiar place. The nearest safeHouse is Hastvik, the location is in the archipelago. From Hastvik, follow the path west, at some point there is a detour to the left. We arrive in a place where there is a very high larch in the middle, with textures above that resemble eyes. There are a candle at the base of the tree, and two handprints left with blood, but above all, and this is the coolest thing, entering the area you can hear wolves howling and strange sounds, like those of ghosts. The light becomes those of the images even if it is full day. At night it is quite creepy:

Although I don´t think it´s an Easter egg, I did discovered something very unusual.
It might be just for testing purposes or it might be a bug.
Check your maps.
Marking the position on the map, from the shore this is what you can see. (although i think that Island was there before?)

But you discovered that after June update or still within the April update?
It’s known as the Monster Island and it’s been there more or less since the first Second Extinction trailer.
I know the name but “that” is classified info to be discussed over here .
But the question remains was it after an update or it appeared during an ongoing update?
It´s hard to know which trailer was and when.

I think the Devs said at one point it was just a testing place but idk
Usually these kind of open world games have dev areas where every item, object, enemy and npc is placed/available for testing purposes. Finding such place ain’t so surprising.
But showing the area for players in production is usually a bug, so I would guess it’s going to disappear at some point. 
(if it’s indeed a dev area)
