FMTEL Assignments not tracking

That’s different.
For example the assignments to kill a specific amount of a machine did just count for the player who killed the machine.
The assignment for destroying televisions counted for me and my mate together.

So far, the FMTEL assignments that have never registered any completion for me are either EMP usage, rifle kills, or anything related to a Base Defense mission. The only time anything with the base registered was the “dance in the base” and “remove / build a structure in the base” assignments.

This was both on Playstation and PC and is a major issue with any further playability beyond the whole 100% or areas and collectables or Reaper spawns / kills.

Hopefully the next patch / DLC fixes this.

To chime in here, sadly this weeks weekly assignment isn’t tracking, its a base defense one so I kinda figured it wouldn’t :pensive: Here’s hoping we get a bunch of “hard” assignments this week so we can make up for it!

They don’t seem to be in any hurry to fix it, though. The FMTEL missions have been bugged since they put in the new system. I don’t even smell the rumor of a hotfix.

I´m having a strange issue.
My weekly resistance progress points reset to 0 after each week (On Monday).
Anyone else is having the same issue?

I think that is as intended.

Then how are we supposed to get to higher levels with just 3 assignments per week?
Just saw Tenebris latest video and at some part he is at level 12!
Last week after finishing the 3 assignments i was at level 3.
I followed common sense “ok next week they give us more assignments and we get more points”
Nope. 0 points now, something is wrong or its just a very stupid game mechanic.
Why implement the Assignment Level system if we cant reach higher levels?

Hmm, I thought it was intended, but you’re right, I hadn’t thought about that we never get enough points to finish all three. I just do those assignment for fun and something to do, but I only start those I think I like doing.

Do we know how many points to fill one circle? I thought it had 8 segments. That would mean 24 points to get all three filled.

We would need at least 4 points every day. 7 x 4 = 28

It is weird indeed.
This system could work if we had lots of assignments each week.
That might be the issue, new ones not appearing or else its just bad programming.

From what I can see each segment is 4 pts, and this week you only get 2 pts for the weekly (if it actually worked which it doesn’t) and then 1 pt for each assignment thereafter. Although I’ve seen weekly assignments give 3, this week is only 2. and some of the dailies give 2, but not today’s. They both give 1…I think this was programmed by a monkey in front of a high tech panel who has no idea what anything actually does, he’s just tryin’ to get a banana.

Its 6 to get the tick fully filled then 12 for the Hunter. We can only assume its 18 for the Tank, totalling 36 resistance points…

In other words, especially the way it is right now, impossible.

Hmmm… I guess it’s more like 6 points for the Tick, 12 p for the hunter and 18 p for the tank, but not adding up, so it’s 18 points max. per week.

And I guess the weekly reset to 0 is correct, as it is a weekly assignment and to get the points you have to get the 2-3 daily assignments every day

That should be correct.

My highest level was 13 resistance-points in the first or second week.

For me it seems this system isn’t finished yet.

No, its 6 points Tick, extra 12 points Hunter, then assuming extra 18 points Tank. Which is why no one got Hunter last week.

Well, you could be right, indeed.
I had to load a backup of my savegame a few days ago which costed me my hunter reward in the box.

Daily update for me. Got the Bike Challenge but only AFTER I got off the bike. Ended up traveling about 6 km thinking it would trigger. It did not but after I gave up and got off the bike…it triggered. Base defense (Medium) was a no go. Anyone else have any luck?

That’s how it always is with me when I did bike assignments. After the mile or more you have to stop and get of the bike for the reward to trigger.

Yeah. I figured I’d give the heads-up so people here have an idea how to trigger it.

Same I rode around the western slopes of Himfjall for ten minutes to really make sure enough time passed. When the assignment completion notification did not appear I stopped, got off the bike and then it triggered completion.
