Future DLC: filling gaps instead of sidegrades

They should add the M79 ā€œChina Lakeā€ as the ā€œexperimentalā€ version, that would be super fun to use!

Ps. If you dont know what the China Lake is see picture,

Isn’t that the G79 of US weapons pack 2?

The M79 (G79) is a break-action single shot 40mm grenade launcher.

The China Lake pictured above is pump action 40mm grenade launcher that can hold 3+1 rounds. So it’s got a lot more firepower.

Would be hard to market an exaperimental based on a DLC weapon though, but we also lack experimentals for a whole lot of weapon types/calibers.

I like the idea of a .45, I’d love to see a 1911 but honestly I’ll take anything that will shoot a .45, we need more large caliber rounds in game.

The pump grenade launcher looks good, too. The reloading takes forever with the break action.

lol, yeah. magnum rounds in a small SMG on full auto would definitely be a wristbreaker :joy:

As I understand it they changed from 9mm to .45 to improve stealth by introducing a sub sonic round.

I think that the .45 and 9mm versions came out simultaneously because those were both popular calibers at the time. The USA then had been using the 1911 for 50 years and the Grease Gun since WW2. The .45 MAC actually shares magazines with the Grease Gun.

Of course the subsonic .45 with the big suppressor did make it super quiet, but I think that was more of a happy accident. .45 was just what the USA was using at the time.

True. But since we don’t need another 9mm, .45 would be preferable.

What we need is an smg for all the .32 ammo like a Scorpion.

I don’t think it’d fit in the setting, but a Skorpion would be really cool for sure.

Skorpion was used by a couple of eastern block countries of the warsaw pact, including eastern germany before the fall of the wall, Russians could have easily supplied it and it was also used by some criminal groups, there’s a lot of ways this gun could have made its way into sweden. Same as was previously said about the mac-10, could be surplus stock that they didn’t want to recycle and just dropped to help the super robot killer teens roaming around on the countryside.

I like that idea. There was talk in another thread of an experimental Moller PP that was fully automatic, but it was kind of poo pooed because the magazine capacity is so low it would be almost a nuisance. But if the Scorpion/Mac 10 have a larger mag (30 rounds or more) I’m in.

just make it have a bigger mag instead of adding a new gun

The skorpion would fit as much as us and soviet weapons. Even the spetznas used skorpions. And it fires the same ammo as Mƶller. And the Mƶller is the only wepon that has that caliber in the game. And pistols are more or less obsolete after the wheel. So it would be nice with one more weapon in that caliber that you actually could have some use for. The Mƶller goes to the scrapyard when you find something better.

No more weapons for me. Maybe create an experimental version of them all. But no new ones for me. We need areas opened and new machines and bosses. We have enough guns that we barely ever use. I have my favorites. And the Magnus uses the .44

That’s the dream… an exp version of all weapons, and an ammo/weapon weight rebalance to make non-exp secondaries worthwhile

I don’t know about not adding weapons. We have a lot of weapons, but a lot are just recycles of others. We have a lot if 9mm guns, and dont even get me started on 7.62. But if we added guns that used calibers that are less used (like .32 and .44) it would be worth it.

Personally i would like to see something new that came from or because of the toasters. Or even special rounds

Like an emp rifle or rounds.(may already be there just have not seen it yet and by rounds i mean something more like emp 7.62s not granades rockets or 84mm)

Something that looks like it was ripped off a toaster and made usable by humans.

I get what your saying, at least I think so. Your talking about augmenting captured machine parts to use against them?

Yes or some never seen before stuff designed particularly to go after the toasters
