Yes , you stumbled correctly.
Now what happened here on this location? I had to crawl under the truck to check if the guy was still alive. But I was too late, I guess.
What a melancholy scene once I found it @Gysbert - just east of the festival site at 4176.524, 15.261 on Himfjall. Looks like a nasty collision between a Björk 300 and a Ville cargo hauler. The area’s all taped off, and there’s evidence of police response but not a single soul in sight. No driver, no officers… just the rustle of trees and that dead body.
I crawled under the truck too hoping there was still time to help the guy. But no luck. He was already gone. Tragic, really. I took all his stuff. I noticed too that there’s a beacon nearby, and judging by the way the wreck’s positioned at the bend in the road, I wouldn’t be surprised if a FNIX harvester emerged from below the road ridge and surprised the drivers of the truck and car leading to the fatal crash. The police investigation team, the truck driver and potential witnesses may have been even captured by FNIX.
Just another frozen moment of chaos from the day everything fell apart.
Correctly found this drama site, Tim.
Now on my travels through Östertörn I came across many sites that had a wooden cart. Can you identify the location of this tipped cart?
Right off the bat I’m thinking Farmlands Region. Something about the terrain and lighting feels familiar. The angled fencing in the background also stands out, it’s the kind you often see bordering abandoned homesteads or barns scattered throughout that region. Really looking forward to diving into the search later after work. It’s a real highlight of my day!
Well, it’s nice to see you enjoy it as much as I do.
To highlight your day a bit more. I just found a 9th birdhouse that I had not seen before. I had to sneak to the tree to not alert the nearby Rival.
Thats brilliant! You’re quite the birdhouse specialist! I absolutely love looking for them too, they’ve become one of my favourite little side hunts now. Do you think there might be an update to your map at some point with a small birdhouse icon? I completely understand that you can’t include every little detail, but even a tiny “BH” marker would help me loads when I’m out exploring!
Yes, of course I will mark them on the map in due course, but I thought players might like to have a look themselves before I do. The map is a rather big spoiler.
Maybe you find some that I haven’t yet.
This afternoon I am playing AC shadows for a while. Brilliant game, I am having a lot of fun.
That’s understandable about the map, I’ll keep searching the old school way. And how’s this for synchronicity…I actually picked up Assassin’s Creed Shadows just yesterday! It’s the first game that’s not been Generation Zero I’ve played in a long time! Still getting used to the controls, and I’ve only just finished the prologue with one viewpoint unlocked so far at the beginning temple but the graphics and world building are absolutely breathtaking. It’s a bit overwhelming, I’m not sure where to start. Shall I unlock as many viewpoints as I can first? Follow the main quest? Look for shrines?…
So strange that you mentioned it!
Evie would approve…
Location: -1754.145, 966.811 – Myrbacka Farm.
It took me 3 hours and 42 minutes to track this one down, but I loved every second of the hunt! Had a bloody Seeker and two Runners crash my victory salute, though!
How GeoGuessr players manage to do this with the entire planet is beyond me! Keep them coming, @Gysbert they’re tremendous fun! They do seem to be getting trickier too, which makes it even better!
That’s correct, even though this is a cryptic answer, Evie would approve.
A big salud for find the correct location.
I know but I didn’t want to spoil the location completely this time so others may still try and search for it…
Yes there is a lot to learn, and the game has a lot fighting but also many peaceful moments in it. Like praying at shrines, animal sketching, looking for scrolls, etc.
How you start is all up to you, I too tried to unlock several viewpoints in the beginning, but then I decided to do side and story missions and unlock those when needed. I like the use of the scouts-mechanic; you need to find out where you want to put your scouts effectively to find targets.
This house was partly built with brick and not surrounded by other houses, there aren’t too many of those.
I love when games give you the space to slow down and just absorb the world. I started off by unlocking a few viewpoints too this morning, just to get a feel for the map, but it’s reassuring to know that you can take your time and approach things however you want. The scouts mechanic sounds really clever, I haven’t fully explored it yet, but I’m looking forward to learning how to use it effectively as I go. It’s also a very big map compared to Ostertorn!
What a fascinating hybrid house. I don’t think I’ve ever come across this one before! From the looks of it, with that notice board visible through the window, it seems like the military may have taken over this homestead. Really looking forward to tracking this one down, it definitely stands out as something a bit different!
Where did you find this one?
Btw, you nailed it when you said there might be Soldiers near.
Hint: The house is near a south farmland town where the military were holding the front line against the machines.
