Would a Gmail chat work better so it is invite only? That way spam bots won’t be able to make their way in again?

With a discord server I can set roles and rights and how members may join. I think that should be enough at first.

Idk if bots are an issue there, too.

I don’t actually have discord, I will have to ask my mom for permission. (And yes your guys assumption everyone in the community was older wasn’t entirely correct.)
