Interesting locations

The small army checkpoint in the Archipelago Repion has changed. There use to be a yellow boom barrier and some fences, now it looks like this:

I saw this posted on facebook. Anybody seen this ugly mug, and know where?

Lampshade. Yes seen it and laughed but don’t remember where.

It’s in a little brown two door shed somewhere. :point_left: :sunglasses:

I asked around, but nobody has any idea about the whereabouts of this Lampshade Guy (or girl), nor what the story behind this would be. With the Olssons Family it was part of the lore. And then there was also ‘Bucket man’ at Angnas Manor. But he, I guess, was probably more a decoy then an imaginary guy.

Checking all sheds is quite a task if we don’t even know in what region he dwelled. :man_shrugging:

Hi all,

did you see this area?

I think it has been changed in the last update, but I’m not sure.

It’s very interesting there. The lift seems to be unfinished. The powerline there is unconnected towards north/north-east. And I recognized an issue while standing in the camp over there. If you look west/north-west you can’t see and hear any machines. Just walk a bit western and suddenly it could happen that you stand almost in front of machines… And then hear them of course.

It seems that there is something like an invisible wall where can walk through but not hear and see through.

One more thing:
If you look western you can see a great open and flat space. It seems to me, that it could be planned to make there something great new. A fortress, a village or something like that.
And if you go eastern from there there are two of these smaller powerlines next to each other going straight east, which end at the Östervik church.

Almost seems like a preparation for a railway. But I could be wrong.

Take a look and make your own thoughts and feel free to share them.

I am not sure either. I know I have been to Älgnacken before, and did not notice the skilift, when I went back there two days ago I did see the ski-lift. It’s indeed not quite finished and I discussed that on Aliasdja’s discord with Aesyle.

There was talk a while back that it was strange that we never seen FNIX structures built, nor do we ever saw unfinished ones. I guess that the devs picked up on that and introduced half finished structures. The Cave that we could find during “Landfall”, was just a hole in the Skåleberget mountain wall, before it was finished in the “Assault base update” and change into a boarded up mine shift with rails come out of it.

I never heard sounds or noticed a invisible wall. Maybe it is easy to miss, or it was not there for me.

The double powerlines they are just that Low (~220-230) voltage powerlines for powering houses. They are all over the place. I did’t see anything in that location that would make me think about a railway track.

Maybe in some places, but not here… Or they made it bad. Look at the upper end of the skilift, there is the cable, but it stops immediatly after this first structure. Either it’s an mistake or it’s not finished by the devs.

Just go to the camp and move western. Maybe you will see if there currently are machines.

Is it normal that there are two of these powerlines next to each other?
Regarding the rails it was just a thought of me… I imagined that there could be a railway between these two powerlines. It would fit perfectly there. At the church there could be a trainstop… And who knows what the open flat space western of the camp is supposed to be for…

Not sure if it’s normal in real life, but we also see both single and double with the High Voltage Powerlines running through Östertörn.

It’s the first house of Gamla Stan suburb after you go through the ruin gate on the road Böovägen. You can see the gate on the picture.

That seems new to me, I’ve seen it at the IGA facility. I’d say it either belongs to company security or an emergency repair technician. Has anyone seen more cars with emergency lights that are neither army nor police?

There is also the mysterious black car at the locked cabin in the marshlands. I believe it belongs to an unknown special military unit

Or Resistance fighters…

Oh, that I can’t remember of.
