if you were to update/change the island what it be,
i reckon the biggest islands should be half controlled by NATO and finix and the intro missions should be helping NATO setup bases to control the island kinda like base defense and there would be new weapons such’s as air strikes, AT4, bar mg, Garand, etc and the island lore would be that it used to be a mass Swedish military base and there would be daily missions so you would keep playing.
the island above it should be fully controlled by soviet machines and you would have to work with soviet troops to destroy/didactive the machines than say if you complete the mission the Swedish military from the mainland finally makes contact and gives good news (such as information on where survivors’ are etc) so than you save survivor’s from the machines than that’s all i could think of

Just ignore him, he’s there 24/7 giving unwanted opinions and reminders on the obvious like a dutiful soldier of a certain regime that no longer exists.
As for the game ideas, there’s heaps and heaps of them that could be discussed and make Gen Zero an actual game people could agreeably say that they like - not just a certain minded demographic that’s literally smaller than that of Microsoft Minesweeper or Pinball (and just about rabid as Elon Musk fans). And of course, those topics can’t be discussed in here, on the official forums that claims to be open-minded and open to criticisms, but only on the positive and “happy thoughts” things, anything that is an actual criticism or a feedback gets censored, silenced and then punished - just like a certain Asian regime does it.
But to make my point; the game is dead, hopefully the company too, but the idea of a game like this exists and is fully in the open for anyone to grab so there’s hope that someone does take it and does Gen Zero justice, if anything just so that it doesn’t go down in history books as a failure and a dead, mangled carcass of a game that had skill and potential but then got killed by edgy, corrupt, capitalist rats who are wanna be American Swedes.
