EDIT: How about a “rhino” type…
It’s purpose would be ammo delivery to other machines.
It would be extremely tankey, fairly slow, but if it rams you… instant death.
Which would be logical seeing the weight.
But it being slower also means fairly easy to dodge.
The machine would only engage when cornered.
Otherwise, it would retreat, and call for backup…

I’m personally more towards sneaky surprise melee attacks in this game, since there are no such thing currently and I want the scare back
I’m a big horror fan you see! And a long time death metal fan as well!
So make the game more scary and intense

I like the idea of a cat like stealth assassin that snipes you out of nowhere, and I agree with you that human machines wouldnt fit gz

As I saw it, sir: it would be a machine that’s weak: low armour, low damage.
It’s speed and agility would by far make up for it.
Add for instance it can shoot on the move…
It would be a true mean machine.
Try to hit a fast machine, that’s additionally agile… would be very hard sir.
So, a well-placed shot… it could kill the Cat instantly…

- At first glance the cat idea sounded ridiculous, but that is because it is ridiculous, now THAT is a Jaguar/Puma style ,a Big Cat, that is not ridiculous, a transformer like Enemy, with a mounted Railgun sniping you from the Forest, sounds cool.
- A Humanoid enemy (with no Human skin) smaller than a Hunter that follows you indoor sounds very interesting, my opinion is that it fits the game, anyone that finished the game story can understand it does.
- I know the Reaper is coming, but i still think we need something…more scary, maybe a Big Spider Machine with the double size of a Harvester, serving as an AA and Artillery mobile Machine guarded instead by squads of runners with a Tank always present.
- For last, either a Ground or Air Carrier Machine Type that replenishes enemy numbers (Hunters and runners) when enough sirens From seekers are heard.
