This has been thoroughly explained since we have new robot companions, but Binary to ASCII has been around a LOT longer than Unicode. None of the numbers are over 255, which is where ASCII ended until Unicode, so it’s actually ASCII. However, feeding the binary octuplets into a Unicode translator will get you the same results as trying to refine the ASCII variant, so enjoy a little knowledge.
