Desert Eagle makes no sense in the setting. Perhaps they could add Pistol m/07. While that gun had quite an anemic caliber IRL, it’s a big gun with a low ammo capacity, so making it the most powerful handgun would be appropriate from a balancing perspective.

With the new US weapons pack, an M203 would be great. Just switch ammo type like one does from FMJ to AP
just add grenade shots.

When it comes to new weapons.

A weapon i’ve always wanted in a game is a big beefy gun, with a slow automatic firing and MASSIVE damage, probably even needing to be set up.
I LOVE the autocannons in dawn of war, that slow systematic pounding of the enemy with high damage bullets.
So a slow auto-fire autocannon that requires setup
 so not knowing ANY guns that fit that bill i’ll suggest something completely different but yet similar.

It would be a massive hassle, the recoil should be enormous unless lying on the ground and the ammo rare.
But damn, shooting it! BOOM!!!

I like the idea of an under-barrel launcher but I don’t think many people would use it though personally I was disappointed with the grenade launcher because it feels like I’m firing an over exaggerated BB gun because of its poor damage maybe if the developers could buff that a little bit I could then see people utilising the under-barrel launcher overall though I’m down for the idea it would be pretty cool to use and your method of appling the ammo is good too

I feal like I would use the hedge cutters more than an AR.

I feel like it would be cool if we could have the option to build a custom firearm.
Like, have a few base designs just for a blue print, but we build it from there. I think that would be a programming hassle, but once finished, it would certainly pay off, because, we could build the perfect gun for our play style.
But it should be difficult, like lots of materials required, or you can only unlock the ability after unlocking a specific ability chain completely .

Well, model-wise it shouldn’t be tooooo bad.
One makes like 3 different barrels, stocks and middle bit (has fancy gun name, not important, mechanism i think).

The one just has a crafting screen, with drop down menus. Almost like, i dunno, the gun modification screen.
Choose one of each, code tells the model which parts of the model to be visible in game, and the parts affect damage, RoF and ammo type. Ey presto, custom guns.

Now the question is, should there be custom guns.
I’m thinking nah, the story isn’t really suggesting any lack of firearms, the easy access to military bunkers with guns just strewn around also makes it that why build your own inferior guns, when there are perfectly good ones just lying about?

While a custom gun system is always fun and i wouldn’t complain if i got one. I don’t see it as something to focus on.
More story, better performance, a new robot and a few new guns, not just DLC mind you.
So to cover costs, have a DLC with like, Oh these cool i dunno, russian guns, you can buy 3 of them, but all players get the russian sniper gun for free, or something.
Just mentioning things i like when other companies does it.

That’s a really good idea. I think your right, building your own guns might prove to be redundant, but i wouldn’t complain if they added it.
It would be more productive to add a DLC, new gun/s, or new robot. Or all of them.
P.S. I think the middle part of the gun that your talking about would be called the action.

Probably, but again no matter.

Coz again, the US is literally supplying us with guns, why would i need to craft one?

However a custom melee weapon would actually be hilarious. If it wasn’t for the fact that melee is a bit fatalistic. Considering the enemies explode and constantly gas everything.

Yeah, I like your idea better. A custom melee weapon might prove more useful. In fact, maybe we could make some kind of portable shield (like a riot shield) That we could shoot at things from behind.

That’s not a bad one.

I’m thinking a police one that drops from enemies and boxes. One that is built from scrap, and one that is just a car door :stuck_out_tongue:

And then one can modify them with a few parts. Like a metal plate for more coverage, ripping off half for less coverage but better handling. Perhaps a stand that let’s you aim another weapon or something. I dunno.

Seeing how CotW has bow mechanics, maybe some explosive(and fire for multiple ammo) arrows?

If done right, the bow and arrow idea might actually work really well. And there could be an experimental one that would double as a melee weapon, like put some kind of blade on it. That would be sick.

Adding an experimental Magnus:

The revolver has an extra two slots and it will ignite as a green flare and then the machines will attack that component, there is an increased rate of fire and a sped up reload.

To edit the rpg experimental:

The missiles at least one should home in on a machine that is nearest or this could be a new ammo type that only works with 5crown and up
