New weapon, new attachment and ammo change

Listen pal,why U just can’t understand that U not right and we could finish this conversation??We are all doing good things and trying to make this game better,but some ideas not working as U wish;)))

Yeah,those guys are using proper and more reliable stuff :joy:

@Dusty
Well that was not nice, sir.
I mean, freedom of speech and all that…

I wonder, how would an Afghan bow look like?
Made of stone or so?
Stone age stuff?

Sorry Sir,My mistake ;)It’s never repeats again😎
Probably it’s looks like ancient ballista for normal damage:joy::joy::joy:

OMG, handheld?
Do they dual wield these? XD

Something like this😂

And dual wielding?
OMG.

All we need then vs a tank is a wooden assault tower, move it in close, so we can shoot the tank in the eye.
thoughts?

Ouu,I think He will be already dead due his CP malfunction if this wonder weapon place on position :joy::joy::joy:

Wow this was a lighthearted conversation with ideas and just ideas put forward, I never said I was right and always right so before think before making disdain comments about people you don’t know

Dude, I really don’t want to touch your feelings and sorry if it’s happened,but think twice before writing,hold a answer for your words.I deeply respect every community member cuz we all wanna the same - play in the game where everyone welcomed;)))

Why do you keep talking about arrow heads? No one on here even suggested a use of them. And yes an arrow head can go pierce some middle age armor. Today’s armor depending on which manufacture isn’t possible. But I’m still puzzled why you keep talking about arrow heads that are designed penetrate flesh when we all are talking about special tip arrows.

And there’s nothing today that can handle an emp. It’s just a video game. If these machines were hit with an emp it be straight done no getting up. And electro magnetic pulse would fry every circuit, diode, resister, capacitor… so on. The whole world today fears being hit by a solar flare. Cause it drop use back to the Middle Ages.

It’s just a game brothers no need to bash or get into conflict. I appreciate your ideas and what you feel is right and wrong. But let’s not get heated

Indeed,it’s was specially made arrow head - looks like needle.But usually against knights were used crossbows with armor piercing bolts.Medieval armor was just 2-3mm thick)))

The one way that a bow could fit in and be useful would be as a deliveery system for an eexplosive device that could not be tracked by the machines. I could believe that machines triangulate your position from hearing the weapon go off, even if it is a small pistol. Sharp noises travel and if their microphones were really sensitive a gunshot would spike sufficiently, even at long range.

But imagine that they could not triangulate the “soft” sound of a bow. A crossbow makes a cracking noise, but a longbow doesn’t. So it would give you one single option in your armoury for engaging a machine in a fashion that it could not detect you. The machines would react, and run about looking for you, but it would give you an entirely neew way to play an engagement. So imagine the force of a grenade, but indetectable (unless there were enough machinees that they eventually could find you).

It would add something to the combat options, without taking anything away, and without being unbelievable.

@Bootie
Gun shot is hard to triangulate due to echo and reverb.
NOT impossible, but hard.
A constant noise then, like that of an engine, is MUCH easier, due to the real sound overcoming both echo and reverb.
Bow would be darn quite, but would require a rubber thingy [like from a toy arrow] point to make the arrow stick to the machine’s armour?

On top, depending on the weight of whatever you want to deliver, arrows would react bad to it?
I’m an LMG gunner, not a medieval bow knight, hence my Q’s. :slight_smile:

No! Explode on impact - either on the machine, or on the ground beside it. At longer ranges - say 200 metres max, you’d be guessing. You’d get better at judging where to fire it as you went on…

@Bootie
Like a Rambo arrow tip, got ya. :slight_smile:

A search for “mortar” returned a lot of references to tank mounted mortars, but I didn’t find any requests for a mortar operated by the players against the machines. I would love to see a mortar on the weapons list. Not necessarily one to carry with me, but placed at strategic positions. It could be a “mortar nest” where the soldiers had been taken out. It could be near the windmills, so you could take on the always present tanks.

What about an MG nest then? :thinking:

I think I proposed that some months ago. I would love that too. Especially if the devs have any plans of making more “wave attacks / protect the flag” missions (I don’t love that).
