i wish me and my friend could play the game together we used to be able to but sometimes we would have to reset our consoles at the same time to let us connect to one another now that method doesnt even work anymore so please fix this issue…

Xbox has a habit of not liking when people try to join once the game goes into offline mode. Also doesn’t like it when you have joined an open multiplayer, then try to connect with a friend.
Solution. Remember to always head back to dash, and quit the game manually. Don’t just shut down your console from controller. Your game will need to be re- synced just so it’s all crystal, easily done in a few minutes. You’ll also want to do a console restart before you head back online.
You should be all good, but as a rule - I normally re sync every weekend
