I do get that it had a lot of problems but, was it still enjoyable? Because at least for me I think the biggest goal of a game is to be fun, and for me it was more than fun enough to justify the price.
Agreed. Also, just to be clear: I’m not trying to be precious about anything, and I don’t consider myself uncomfortable with people sharing angry feelings. I just didn’t see the use in beating the dead horse about protesting/boycotting when the decision to end development had clearly already been made. I’d just rather work on keeping the community going. But I have no objection to people sharing how they feel. Couldn’t do anything about it anyway even if I did have an objection! It’s a free board, I’m just here like everyone else
Also, to add on to @GlitchBane 's point: I’m not nearly as heavy a player as many people here on the board. I think I’ve logged about 600 hours. Even if I paid full price for the game and all the DLC, that’s . . . what? $100? Which comes out to . . . 16 pennies per hour of entertainment? Not a bad deal, even if the game was in a 100% unplayable state at this point. How many activities in life can you honestly say have that good a cost/benefit ratio?
Just one point.
The thing is, the game works, but it worked better before “The Last Update”.
That cursed update made some weird stuff to the companion and to the other main problems in your Poll.
And they left the game without fixing those same problems they introduced.
That is a mega red flag and not how you finish a product development.
