Ahhh thx man jeez I really thought everything was gone
I’m on PS5 and decided I would get back into GZ since a lot of updates have came along and I also just downloaded all the DLC for it, I was beyond Excited to get back into it and then the game crashed an split second into loading up and giving the corrupt save file messages when I try to get back on and it’s just an endless loop, I really don’t want to give up on this game it has sooooo much potential and entertainment. I created this account just so I could keep up with the updates on the fix for it.
Also experiencing this for the last 2 days on a PS5
No worries think they’ve sorted it now.
I just tried playing with internet off, and I was able to load up and play no problem! So that’s a solution for now.
Sorry didn’t mean to delete that previous message,also a forum noob,it got through on my game to the menu screen which didn’t have the sale window at about 4:30pm GMT

Yeah, when you’re offline there’s no sale window. So that’s most likely the problem! Crazy how something so small can cause such a big problem.

I was online at the time bud,I assumed they fixed it I was watching the forum for confirmation but haven’t seen any yet.
Yeah 100%,im on the main menu now and online and the sale window is gone so all seems good.
Are you confirming that the sale window AD now longer appears while we are ONLINE?
(Not talking about the temporary fix some users found).
Can confirm game works properly online. No ad banner seen, no crashes, no corrupts.

Yes, I can confirm that the Sale window is now gone and the game will now start normally again with online connection and multiplayer connections.
Seems the Devs have applied a retro fix and removed the Spring Sale window…

After the corrupted file was deleted, do we get our original save back after this fix?

Dont delete your save, the game will try to un corrupt it, had worked 100% of the time.

i myself can also confirm i got in just fine while remaining connected
I just experienced a new bug very similar but something has changed… now the game crashes everytime before the game menu loads (on the loading screen where the cassette wheels appear), the only solution is to start it offline…
So, the fix is done. But trying to play the game again, i deleted the corrupted file before the fix. Now have lost all my experimentals (20 pieces), all my 5 crown weapons, schematics, collectibles, …. And so on.
This is not fun anymore ….
