Is this game region locked for online play? I have a few friends in Australia that are getting the game and I’m in the U.S. I’d like to know that we’ll be able to play together before i pre-order a copy for myself. Thanks in advance.
The multiplayer connectivity is P2P so provided you have a good (low latency) connection to your friends it should work. [1]
The connections are mediated by platform (i.e. Steamworks, PSN, XBL etc), unfortunately cross-platform play is not supported. [2]
