The seekers are still lying on the ground where they died but came back to life and started calling for help as well as becoming bullet proof. On PC. solo play, i5-7500, 16 Gb ram, GTX 1060 6GB, Win 10 and all drivers up to date.

It’s been reported, but not sure if they are really calling in reinforcements, as they go red and give off another sound when calling others in. (Even the hunters are howling when dead and you fast-travel back to the spot)
