Yes that’s my issue.
So what mission are you doing?
It says there is a mission, but which one and where?
Read somewhere ‘in a house on a fridge’, but that’s not so clear to me.
(and not every house has a fridge…)
Also it’s location would be north of Sillavik, where the indication of finding a mission is.
To the Lighthouse
Location: South Coast Region
Mission Start: Sillavik (-3105, 3800)
One of the victims of the targeted assassinations was a Dr. Håkan Pettersson, medical doctor and surgeon at FOA 53. He lived at the house by the lighthouse at Hisingafyren, at the end of the Hisinganäset peninsula. There are maybe clues left there as to what happened.
Objectives
Find Dr. Håkan Pettersson’s house
Destroy the machines patrolling around the house
Find clues and supplies in the house
Find a key to the locked room
Investigate the locked room
I feel at my bones I’m gonna consult you (and the other Masters on this forum) a lot in the future
You need always first have the start of the mission triggered.
In general this can happen when you are near the mission-start location (proximity) or by interacting with something (a note, a recording, warboard, etc.). When the mission has correctly started you should get an mission-way-point directing you to the next step.
You can’t just go to Dr. Håkan’s house, if the game hasn’t directed you there via a mission-way-point. So always follow the objectives that the game gives you.
Succes!
Right! Just discovered that by now (…) there’s a side mission visible.
What started the mission, I don’t remember? Proximity I guess…
probably - I don’t always see the logic of activating things
It can also be that after you have taken the newspaper article from the kitchen, the mission icon appeared.
Did you finish the mission?
The lore in this mission is like a horror story. Many of FOA’s personnel who were working on the FNIX project were assassinated. Only Veronica Nilsson is missing.
I understood that ‘chronological’ in this game is a bit confusing.
Don’t always remember where I’ve been and what I’ve done.
Trial and Error…
Hello Community, so first of all, I’ve read a lot but that’s not quite clear to me.
And I have currently done everything in GZ (incl. Fenix Rising, the Alpine DlC i habe Not) but in Sillavik I still see a mission (mission 0/1).
However, I have already completed the side mission to the lighthouse. Is there still something or a bug, can you fix it if it is one.
Hope you can help.
I have had exactly the same problem. Reported it but nothing has happened.
Merged all threads covering the issue.
//Mod
So , 2 or 3 Updates now and still Not liste as complete Mission (Mission 0/1). i dont thin this will be fixed
still a problem as of 8/10/2023
even on trying to finish it on a different world, no luck, same issue.
(went through and did everything on the new world, upon completion of the mission Sillavik still says 0/1 missons (maybe the game is just not checking the box for it after the mission has been completed? just a guess not a dev myself, i’m just trying to help get an easy solution if there is one)
And still … the same issue.
Platform:
Personal Computers with the associated operating systems. ASUS gaming notebook with AMD Ryzen 7 processor and Nvidia 2000 series gpu. Intel NUC 11th generation Intel i7 with Nvidia 2000 series gpu. Various issues affect one or the other and both. My children are experiencing issues with their i5 gaming notebooks. All the systems run, or can run, Windows 10/11. On my own two systems that I game on I’m using EndeavourOS with ArcoLinux extensions; both are Arch Linux spins. I’ve also tried playing Generation Zero with Windows 10 and Windows 11. I really hate Windows 11. It’s looking like the last Microsoft operating system I’ll ever buy or use. Linux, or BSD, from here on out until something better comes along thanks to run-away super AI. The same thing that is probably training the mech-Mutts and Hunters to act… like “well” trained human infantry. I’d hate to think what the game would do with the mega-Mech-monstrosities if the AI developers read any Liddell Hart or Heinz Guderian.
Description:
Same issues as above users discuss. On the first run I finished all these quests. The second run the Mission listed as being available; is not. No mission to find on any refrigerators in the town. Refrigerators… everything looks like two door cupboard storage to me.
Steps To Reproduce:
I’m not replaying the entire game a third time.
Twice was a proof of concept enough after losing my first character and then having to recreate it just to prove there are issues. There are still issues. New ones pop up every so often. Half buried tanks, dancing Harvesters, smart super-hero undying mech-mutt crack elite infantry. Flying mega metal debris. I’ve been expecting a Sasquatch sighting at this rate. UFOs! No… it’s just dead flying mech-debris. Then the disappearing weapons from storage and personal inventory happens while playing; during both my character play experiences. If it wasn’t for my kids and others who play this game I’d have given up on Generation Zero. But no… I keep buying DLCs for my kids and myself. Oh the game. The pains.
For all the bad there is still a great deal of good. The Generation Zero is a great game to play while drinking beer after watching professional sports. I have to admit there have been more than just a few game nights where I just turned off professional sports and played Generation Zero. Sometimes it’s relaxing to know you beat the machines.

Not needed… other people have provided the evidence that dates back… several years.
Host or Client:
Steam in Linux and Windows
Players in your game:
One. But now that I know I can invite friends into my game and arm them with the good stuff. I’ll be playing the game more often. I don’t have to wait for co-players to quest up the good stuff. I can equip and train them myself. No need to make multiplayer only characters.
Specifications:
Ah… specifically money from my bank account disappears and then DLCs install that seem to add new bugs while ignoring old legacy bugs. All in all… self inflicted head aches after buying DLCs on sale and not; I didn’t buy enough Aspirin. I’ll buy another bottle of that, beer, and then probably more DLCs for Gen-Zero… just to discover that… the game gives people hang overs just like beer. That must be bonus content creation on the fly. Eating pizza is never a good idea playing the game. Most especially when trying to slug through an assault on a Fenix base. The pizza always ends up cold while the beer gets warmer.
Well… here’s looking forward to the next Gen-Zero DLCs and a Steam sale. Until then it’s beer and aspirin.
I feel for you and just love this article
