Suggestion: Slower Death

Game is one of the best ever.

Suggestion: Longer period of “injured” before death. A few seconds would make a big difference.

The most tedious part of the game is that some enemies can kill me so quickly that I don’t have time to use a med kit. Not even with the Last Man Standing skill.

Adrenaline Shots are great, but rare. (Yes, I know about a few “farm-able” shots but they are still rare.)

Possible ways to implement:

  1. Improve Last Man Standing to maintain some points of health (near invulnerability for a few seconds). This would give the player time to use a med kit.

  2. Improve Last Man Standing to give more bonus points.

  3. The dimmed view when player is near death is good. Just make this last at long enough to use a med kit. (Perhaps 10 seconds, more or less?)

  4. Schematics for Adrenaline Shot crafting. (Same problem; different solution).

Avoid those machines then. Or try different tactic when battling with them.

This is highly likely possibility and arriving soon as well. Perhaps even in the next game update (in February '21).

Avoiding dangerous machines: Seriously? Do you play that way? Heh. :slight_smile:

I just said it was “tedious”; not impossible. We want machines to be dangerous. In fact, I kinda miss the May/June version which was far more dangerous than now. I do, however, like that cleared areas do not respawn so aggressively, so there is clearly a tradeoff.

I pick my battles and that is smart way to play GZ. E.g if i happen to see 3-4 FNIX harvs + their entourage in one spot, i’m not going to engage them.

Some find tedious grinding for 5*/6* weapons, others find tedious walking the map, few find tedious using first aid kits. To each their own. :wink:

I know you are trying to help, but I think you misunderstood my post.

I am making a suggestion to devs for a subtle balance improvement (not looking for help from other players).

I know what you are asking for and for time being, i gave one suggestion what to do. Another one is lowering in-game difficulty level, so that machines won’t hit you that hard.

A-shot schem, along other crafting schems are coming in near future and that would solve your issue. As far as your other ideas go, especially the 1st and 3rd ones, well; you call it improvement, i call it deterioration.

I get what you’re saying dude. I’m pretty sure during one of Tenebris’ recent videos he talked about similar things. Like a quick use slot so you don’t have to take time to pull out a med and then switch back to your weapon. Would be great for players who like it fast and loose. They’ve made bigger changes to the game than that, so it doesn’t seem that farfetched to implement these things. Plus they seem like great balancing ideas :+1:

And yes, I would think this was a thread for suggestions to devs, not suggestions to other players.
