Yea honestly we were probably better off using uranium to craft ammo then doing 10 base defense missions to be able to craft it lol. And yea there doesn’t seem to be as much purpose for normal uranium now, besides those couple things and resetting your skills

um… i don’t have any interest in crafting, or base assaults or defence… how do I get the new missions to happen after the update (which doesn’t seem to have fixed framerate drops when multiple machines are in a fight)?

I can see there’s a new bit of detail on the island to the left on the map… but what then?

You need to enter a Hatch at a level 3 FNIX Base then you should be able to trigger the new missions from going to the Tyrant Terminal

where in the game do I find this information? Like, if I’m not doing base assaults because I find them to be a net-negative in terms of how I could spend even a single minute of the one and only life I have, how would I know this expansion exists?

I haven’t had a mission pop up to suggest I do anything, to achieve anything towards this expansion.

Apparently a pop up should have appeared describing what you have to do when you launch the game.

But what about the others?
Ethanol, … And I don’t remember how the others we’re called. For example for Adrenalin you need to different new ressources.
Or the advanced first aid kit needs a new ressource, too.

hmmm. haven’t seen that, unless you’re referring to the little news window in the bottom right hand quarter of the screen on startup, that wants to launch the web browser on the console to go to a website… which I’ll never do, because I don’t browse the web on a game console, I play games.

I don’t understand how. I went down in the hatch but do not see how I can interact with anything or anyone there.

right, but that’s not in the game. I don’t use Discord on my game console, I play video games. So where in the video game do I get instruction for the new missions.

This isn’t a jab at you @Indominus-J BTW. I’m just baffled that it wasn’t introduced with a resistance side-mission event or similar “we have intelligence that a great secret is hidden beneath a FNIX base”. All it needed was that alert.

Some feedback on the drop rates of experimental weapons:

Maybe it’s just rng, but I did 8 base assaults (lvl3) and destroyed 5 rivals yesterday, and I only got two experimental HP5 and one experimental Älgstudsare.

After two base assaults I even got none reward.

Same for me, no popup but I had the knowledge from the release notes.

Are adrenaline injectors the new hard currency? Costs more resources to craft now and the ones you find are priceless. Down from a large stash in Plundran to the dozen left.

But no matter how frantically you work the trigger, you always have more ammo left than when you started. Plundra and Storage full of ammo or explosives and steel now to the level you stop picking the before coveted ammo.

I would like to give credit to the developers for solving the majority of the bugs we’ve had since last summer. :heart:

The only thing I haven’t tested is how the Vulture behaves now. Have to few cordinates to call one in.

One bug that I still have is with the quick weapon change and you see the stock instead of the barrel, losing few but precious seconds before firing the first shot in certain situations.

Only concern I noted but only once so far (please let it be a one time thing) is one Wolf out of three in in battle with a couple of Tanks north of Boo, that just disappeared and left his lynxes in the field.

I loved the new update and even the new resources, while we might gripe about them, their still new and fresh. I like them, even if they are hard to get.

SHOCK ammo is working again. Works like it did before they changed it.

well, i go to a fully developed base, burn through almost all of my health kits, 3/4 of my rocket launcher ammunition, half a dozen adrenalin vials, destroy all the red pillars of light, and the shield around the central core doesn’t fall, and so the base core just sits there, impenetrable and starts regenerating the base.

and the frame rate is still so low the control inputs disconnect from the viewport movement.

The game’s not doing a lot to convince me the update is worth the time…

I’m not sure if anyone mentioned this to you already, but you’ll need to be level 25 or higher, and you’ll need to have completed the “Behind The Curtain” mission for her to appear in the underground hatch at any level 3 FNIX Base. I’m also on Xbox as well and I didn’t get a pop-up.

On different note. Does anyone know which specific Rivals drop each new experimental weapon? Exp AI 76, Exp HPS and Exp Sjoqvist Semi-Auto?
