PC - Win10
I right click on a rival to track and after the Alpine update, it doesn’t show that symbol on the compass at the top like it did the day before.
Track a Rival - Didn’t test it on other items
Yeah, that sometimes works for me, and on other days, it doesn’t. 
Also on PC.
It seems to work all the time in my own game (if I’m lucky to get a rival to spawn in the first place without crashing). It’s not been working reliably when joining someone else’s game.
Do you have permanent safehouse icons on compass?
